"Fight!" - Two weapons clashing, an axe and a longsword.
The two adventurers are fighting for their right to be an adventurer and their pride as a warrior. Iron to Iron and muscle to muscle, with every ounce of their being they fight until their near-death, since killing adventurers is not allowed.
I'm sitting along with the adventurers as one of the spectators, and for the first time since being reincarnated in this world. I can finally feel like I'm a normal person again, which is a refreshing feeling than being an overpowered protagonist in a light novel.
"Mmm... Who should win this fight... Mn." - I wondered a bit about that, since I did used a sword early in the game but switched to an axe a bit later, then coming back to a sword.
[Yup. The longsword, it's has a lot more of a hitting area since~]
As Mori watched the fight play out. The one with the longsword did a swing to the axe wielder's neck. But with his short stature, he managed to narrowly dodged it.
"Wow!" - I shouted at the axe wielder for that amazing agility and perception involved in that dodge.
[Quite unexpected, i never thought that was going to happened.] - I thought.
And apparently I was not alone in this one, the crowd cheered out loud as the axe wielder smirked at us.
And the fight continues and Mori looked to the second arena, the rank 8-10th ranks.
And things are going well there as well. The highest skilled of the rank 8th's are charging in a pincer position to take down the orcs and the not-so-skilled adventurers are killing the low-level monsters like the skeletons and the goblins.
"Hyah!" - An unexpected surprised came out of the first arena as the one with the longsword managed to get an hit.
After the axe guy dodged most of the attacks, the sword guy had enough and used the pommel to pushed through him from the back hitting his nape.
And like a titan, he drops his weapon and laid down in defeat.
"Yeah!" - One guy shouted.
"Yes!" - Two guy shouted.
"He's down!" - Three guy shouted.
The crowd rouse in a cheer to the longsword wielder's victory. While some others who are probably betting; seeing the lost of the axe guy, they brought out their coins and gave it away.
Mori looked back to the first arena and the referee or something similar to that calls the match to an end.
"Alright! You are the winner of this match!" - The girl did a slice motion in the air to finish the match.
"Alright! The next is..." -The referee-like girl continued to speak but it was long and boring so yeah.
To put it bluntly;
Water Mage vs. Shield Wielder
Me vs. Paladin
Archer vs. Dagger Thrower
As you can see, I will be battling against a Paladin, which should be interesting.
But then I realized I am overpowered as f*** even without my weapons.
*Sigh....
