Chapter 22

ASIA

One month later
"Wheres talen nana?!!!" I yelled in pain as a contraction went thru. I just arrived at the hospital in a lot of pain, ciara, nana, and even kristen made it. "Im tryna call him right now chicka, calm down." Nana said as the nurse was preparing some equipment. "Hurry.." i screamed low in frustration. I grabbed a grip on the white and green hospital sheets.

TALEN

As soon as ms sarah said that, my heart dropped.
Me-really? Im on my way!, tell her to relax.
Sarah- i will, she really wants you here so hurry up.

I just began to throw on a wife beater, sweatpants and slides, i didnt have time to tell my mom just yet. I headed in my car and drove off.

" asia hernandez" i told the lady in the front. She began looking on her computer and typing . "Hmm.. Hernandez...asia... ok room 309" she said while chewing gum. "Thank you".

I went in the room and saw ms.sarah, kristen and ciara. Im surprised Kristen is here, she seems pretty sad and dull, probably about the drew situation. But right now im focused on my child being delivered safely . As i walked up to asia, i could see the pain in hee tears and face. "You got this baby" i told her while rubbing her face and moving her hair from her face. She just looked at me then down at her legs and began taking deep breaths.

"Alright, your obstetrician should be here shortly " the nurse told asia as she began checking her blood pressure. Asia nodded. "And your blood pressure seems a little high, but thats normal for labor, ill bring some water" the nurse said as she exited the room. "Hope my great grand baby does give you such a hard time" ms sarah told asia as she went up and hugged her, asia smiled. "I hope not either nana".
"Asia, we'll go in the waiting room until its time" ciara said. "Ok.." . Ad they left, asia began getting more contractions.

ASIA
As i was sipping the water, talen was holding my hand and watching tv. The door opened then a woman came, "hello asia, im dr. Louise" she said walking in. "Hello, im asia, this is talen" i said.

"Hello parents of the future baby, so hows the contractions going?" She asked as she began putting on gloves, im glad i didnt get a male doctor. "Painful!" I yelled in sarcasm, but really was true. "Well, lets see how dilated you are" she said as she signaled to open my legs. She was examining for about a good 4 minutes. "Well asia, your 6 cm in. 3 more to go then we'll begin labor " she said as she took the gloves off and began putting hand sanitizer on. "Oh ok.." i said in pain. The contractions got worse and worse.
"Should i cal my mom now and tell her to come?" Talen asked. I rolled my eyes. Joy is the last person on my mind right now. " i dont care.."

"Why you trippin?" He had the nerve to ask me. Im in hella pain and i ain in the mood for this. " you trying to argue while im in labor?" I yelled in frustration. He looked pissed. He dialed his mom and exited the room.

" hows she doing?" I heard joys voice asking while walking in the room with talen. "Good i guess " talen said as he sat down. Joy sat down aswell. Hours went by, then the doctor came. "Hey asia, time to check again " she said while putting on gloves. I opened my legs and she examined again. "Your 9 cm so your ready to start pushing" the doctor said, i looked at talen nervously as joy looked at me.. its actually time... i wish my mother was here for this moment 😓.
