Im now 7 months pregnant, ever sinced drew died talen barely was home, and when he came home it'll be late and he'll either be drunk or high. The baby shower was today so i planned on attending to be nice and appreciative.

As i headed out the shower, i had put on my skinny paternity pants, a big white tee shirt, and white sandals. Nothing to fancy, i put my hair in a bun, and put on my lashes, and some pink lipstick, i wanted to go natural today. As i began putting on cocoa butter, the door opened. Im guessing it was talen. "Im home.."talen said sounding a little drowsy. Its sad how one minute someone could be a certain way, then the next minute, their another way. "Im upstairs getting ready" i yelled. I gotten genesis ready aswell. He wore a white shirt with brown overalls pants with dogger boats. 3 minutes later he came. " you ready for the baby shower?" He asked. I took a deep breath in waiting to tell the truth. "Talen, why havent you been home allot lately? Are you cheating on me?" I asked while standing up folding my arms. "Na, i just been busy man, stop pressuring me" he said getting mad. "Alright talen.. we'll talk about this more when we get back" i told him as i grabbed my phone and purse, and genesis and left , talen followed.

"Ouu my grandbaby getting bigger" joy sais rubbing my stomach."so is my grandson" she said lifting up genesis "Ya, " i said smiling. "Come let me get you a piece of cake" joy said bringing me to a big chocolate and vanilla cake, the title was " asias baby shower" basic? I know. As i took a big piece of the cake. I saw talen getting a peice too. "Mm, this is delicious ms.joy" i told her . "Ya i know" she replied as talen and i sat down. Im surprised we werent feeling kinda awkward, especially what happened last time we seen eachother. I finally got a chance to observe, i saw some family and friends of talen, brianna was on the phone, sharice was flirting with some guy, and i spoted sharee. "Heyy girll" sharee said coming up to me hugging me. "Heyy, hows life?" I asked while eating more cake. "Good, good. I heard what happened at the mall and im really sorry. My sister told me that she doesnt have a problem wih you anymore, neither does brianna." She informed. "Are you positively sure?" I asked in a confused tone. "Yes.." she replied. "Man where the drinks at moma?" Talen asked going towards the food. There was allot of food that smelled good, so i decided to get a plate as well. I gotten fried chicken, rice, potato salad and collard green, with a brisk ice tea. As i sat down and began eating, i decided to check my phone and text my grandma how she been. "Moma i said where the drinks at?!" I heard talen yell. "Boy hush, since its a baby shower i only gotten a little liquor in the house" joy told talen as she began putting up left overs.

"Everyone, its time for the gifts, if you have a gift for asia, please put it on the table" joy said while pointing at a big white table. I was shocked, people i didnt even know gave me gifts i even saw brianna and sharice putting a gift in there. "Ok asia. Come and open the gifts " joy said leading me to the hot seat. I began unwrapping the gifts. " onesies from brianna, thank you brianna" i told brianna. "Yaa.. you welcome." She replied. I began unwrapping the next. "Diapers from sharice, thank you" i said smiling. "'Mhmm" . There were many other gifts, i thanked everyone for their gifts. As i was unwrapping the last gift, talen came in the middle of the show and embarrassed me. "niggas, we got plenty of money for all this shit, yall broke asses got the basic gifts" he said while looking tipsy swinging the bottle of liquor in his hand . "Talen.." i said . "Shutup!, fuck all yall except my moma, yall cheap people" he said. He began gulping down more liquor. "Talen boy! What is you doing?" Joy said looking very disappointed. "Im bout to leave this bitch ass baby shower thats what" as i seen talens behavior, i took genesis from joy and started to walk off. as soon as he said that he began throwing the gifts in the back of his trunk and grabbed me. "Talen stop! Let me go your drunk" i yelled. "Shutup! Im not, but you drive " he said snatching me. People were looking at us in embarrassment. Joy tried to help but she couldn't handle him. As he went in the passenger seat. I drove home.

"WHY THE HELL DID YOU EMBARRASSED ME LIKE THAT TALEN? AT MY OWN DAMN BABYSHOWER" i yelled at talen while putting the gifts in the babys room. "BITCH, NOONE EMBARRASSED YOU" He yelled. Dis he really just call me a bitch? I slapped him so hard his light face turned burgundy . As i finished, his eyes turned black as coal, face red as an apple. "Talen im so.." "POWWW" is all i heard, i felt a fist on my jaw, it pushed me down on the floor. " get away from me, you hit me!" I said crying trying to crawl to my guest room.

TALEN
"Baby,.. im sorry i didnt mean to hit you" i told her, i truly didnt, i tried to caress her but she just hit me even more. "Get away from me! I hate you! And im leaving!" She said trying to get up. I really fucked up, and i didnt really wanted to hurt her. "Baby, please dont leave me, forgive me" i said starting to cry. All she did was cry and scream. I hope i didnt hurt my child man."come here" i said hugging her tight. She finally gave up and endured my hug. "I love you girl , dont leave me" i said, all she did was stare at the ceiling .

She fell asleep and i put her in my room. I whipped the blood from her lip with a warm cloth and covered her up. "Man i fucked up" i said in out loud. I went to check on genesis to see if he was ok, he started crying when he saw that i hit asia. "Ay man, you ok?" I asked him. "Nwo!" He said and took his little self and pushed me. He went next to asia and hugged her.

Man i fucked up, and gifts wont fix this this time.
