The whole world tries
To understand how it feels
They want to understand our darkness
And help us see that it isn't real

They always give the same advice
Tell us to spend time with people and things
But people get annoyed by my sadness
How it's unfair and it stings

I can't control it anymore
I try to get your attention
I'm begging for you to hear my growing pain
But instead I face rejection

Maybe I am annoying and hopeless
Maybe it is my fault
Maybe I should get it all to end
Make my whole life come to a halt

Do you know how it feels
To hate everyday
To feel like nothing matters
Like you're just going to die anyway

If you care at all about this
If you hear my voice
Then why don't you do anything
