Tyler sits down on the couch, and I walk to my mom. Her attitude as she looked up at me, wasn't like anything before... well before everything came rushing down like a train on a track. Her eyes were sparkling not of alcohol but of happiness and love.
It wasn't hard to understand that my mom was hiding something. A relationship perhaps? If so, why not tell me? I thought. When the hell was this? I do not know. Am I happy for her, hell yeah. I just want her to be happy.

"Good morning pumpkin how was your sleep?" She chirps.
I glance at Tyler and bring up a sigh.
It was great, Tyler and I was having a sleepover like always.
"That's my girl!" Tyler says but then regretting it once she looked at him.
"Huh? So ya finally broke the ice." She chucked.
I kept shut, but Tyler obviously didn't want to.
" Yeah the other day" Tyler says as my cheeks get hot.
" AWWWWWWW" she says looking at both of us with affection .
I quickly turn to Tyler for some backup and he scurried to me.
" Ms. {l/n} I want y/n to go with me on tour. It won't be long, just for a month so we will back in November." He explains.
She freezes, the shock in her eyes and the hesitation in her lips.
I grab my sweater sleeve button and unbuckle then buckle repeatedly . Trying to calm myself.
"Mom, please this is important for me, most of these colleges will want someone who has been to many places, and being on tour with famous people like Tyler and Josh, the easiest way for me to get to a good college. Please MOMM!! Will you do this for me."
There was silence in the room for a moment. The thought of being rejected and having the ability to spit out words when she roared no. Holding my tears that were trying to burst if she said no. But that was only if, right?

Then she spoke.

"You're growing up so fast, to this beautiful child I raised and nourished. And seen the greatest of things from her little baby. I will not do the same mistake as I did to myself. Yes you can go."
My eyes brighten as I hear the words that brought my grey thoughts into yellow sunshine. I jump with excitement and quickly bring her into my arms.
"Thanks mom, you know I love you so so much, right?"I say almost crying
"I know baby, I know."
Tyler excitement saved me from doing so.
I kiss her on the cheek grab my bookbag from the counter, grab Ty and rushed out the door to school.
We run to the bus stop and entered it just on time. I talk and talk about our soon to come adventures. Then Tyler spoke.
"Didn't I tell you y/n?!!" Tyler says squeezing me on the bus.
" yes ty, you were right. I'm going on tour with you and josh!!!" I squeal.
I think of all the things and people we will see at these cities and countries. What food we will eat, what movies we will see. And most definitely the time I spend with my smol bean"
I grab my phone from my pocket and take a quick picture with Tyler.
As soon as I press the button Tyler kisses me on the cheek. I smiled.

I look at the photo and I did the same face Tyler did when he smiles.
"Awwww look at my twin!!!" He chuckles.
I look up  at him and brush my hand into his messy hair.
" you're such a troll" I laugh.
" video game troll?" He questioned.
" maybe" I laugh. " but honestly I'm the winner in FPS, Ty." I say in confidence.
" we will see about that y/n"
We laugh to each other.
Once we got to the school I told Tyler that I thought my mom was hiding something from me, he smiles and said. "If She is, that means she's thinking of ways to tell you, and who knows she could be in a relationship, soon you will meet him." He says holding my hand. And I didn't disagree one bit, I just don't want to see her hurt. But I couldn't think that way, not now when I'm almost there. And besides it's October, I need to get into spirit. My mind was set on the future and no longer the past, I was ready.
