Chapter 15: Luce?

"I have an idea! We are going to do a proper apology to Lucy!" 

Erza stated.

I sighed at the name Lucy...

I said I was sorry. I cried every night. I tried giving you my trust but you won't except it...

I fall backwards onto the bed freeing my muscles from being so tense, looking at the ceiling.

But why was it that every time I try to approach you, you leave. Were you suffering all these 7 years? Or were you getting stronger so you can beat us? What do you want me to do Luce? I wonder do you miss me too? Do you still love me? 

Natsu

Yeah, I loved how you always greeted me, it made me feel so...so warm even as a fire dragon slayer, you were the one that made me feel so happy. Heck, I miss you so much.

NATSU

I remember you screaming at me when I sneaked into your house, when you kicked me, yet you were always so kind to me.

Damn, I was such a jerk. I was a stupid, lying, hopeless, failing bastard. 

"NATSU!!"

I jumped right up looking at an angry Erza, annoyed Gray, a confused Lisanna and a concerned Wendy.

"Y-yeah!"

"DID YOU EVEN LISTEN TO ME"

I winced at Erza's shouting. I look away, whistling playing the innocent.

She sighed at me, rubbing her thumb and index finger on her forehead.

"I said how are we gonna give a proper apology "

I thought about it for a bit, until the walking freezer decided to open his big mouth again.

"Woah! The idiot is actually thinking, humanity is saved, he has a brain!!"

I glared at him.

"What'd you call me Princess?!"

"You heard me matchstick!"

"Say it again I dare you?!"

"You--"

"DO I HEAR FIGHTING AGAIN!!!"

We turned to see -gulp- a very, very, very annoyed Erza.

"H-Hi E-Erz-a"

Long story short. We saw the stars. Literally. 

2 hours later..

"Now back to the subject, Natsu do you have any idea's on how we can apologise to Lucy?"

Erza questioned.

"...Nothing to do with money for sure. The most thing Luce would want is a family, people who would treat just like her own blood, after both of her parents left, she seemed lonely, she loved smiling when we were around her, when she achieved awards with her family, when she won with her family, when she had fun she wore that perfect smile.."

I looked up to Erza and she smiling at me.

"What?"

I was confused, do I have something on face?

"So what are you waiting for?"

I looked at them, what are we waiting for?

Until it hit me...

"HOLY CRAP I LOVE HER"

I ran outside of the hotel.

Luce I'm gonna prove to you, that Fairy Tail won't fail you, not while I'm here, I won't give up on you. Never.

"Lucy!"

I felt the wind brush through me as I ran through the deserted streets. 

I ran up the cherry blossom cliff, and saw the person I've craved for too long. 

I started walking behind her slowly. She turned her head towards me and looked at me straight in the eye.
