-Unknown P.O.V-

I see her walking towards me, the most beautiful girl. I want to see her smile, but she's walking with her head down. I move in front of her and she bumps into my chest. She only comes up to my chest.

She'd make a good little.

When she hits me and looks up, I hold my breath. Her eyes are the most beautiful shade of silver. I expect her to smile or swoon but she screams and passes out. I catch her before she hits the floor, staring, confused.
Do I look bad today or something? I get someone to show me where the nurse's office is, then carry her there.
When she wakes up, she says my name, in the hoarsest whisper ever.

"Kayden?"

-Skylar P.O.V-

He's here.

I jinxed myself.

I'm done. So done.

When I look over at him, he doesn't seem to recognize me. I only see the concern in his eyes. Slowly, I realize I'm in the nurse's office. I must have passed out from fear when I saw him, meaning he must have carried me to the nurse's office.

When he notices I'm awake and staring, he blushes. He smiles shyly and calls in the nurse. I lick my lips and softly whisper his name, his head snapping towards me. "How do you know my name?" he demands and I shrink back, whimpering. He immediately backs off and I try to look at him through my tears.
He's changed. Maybe he really doesn't recognize me.
"Do you recognize me?" I ask, then cringe at my voice. He shakes his head and I laugh humorlessly. How perfectly predictable.

The guy I can never, ever forget, doesn't remember me...Or what he did.

I glare at him then say, in my strongest voice, "You raped and tried to kill me."

-Kayden P.O.V-

"You raped me and tried to kill me."

"Sk-Skylar??" She nods. Oh god. I didn't recognize her; she looks so different now. No wonder she screamed when she saw me. I feel sick. How could I have done that to her? But I know 4 years ago, I was a different person.
"I am so fucking sorry, Skylar. I've changed now." She nods and just gets out her phone, beginning to text.

I just begin to wonder if she's getting her mom to call the cops when a voice comes out of her phone speaker saying, 'Yea. I see that. Thanks for carrying me to the nurse.'

I stare at her, confused, and she explains that after I—she quit talking for 4 years until about 2 weeks ago. Then she looks down and starts crying silently. I move to comfort her. When she doesn't move, I put my arm around her but she jumps. I don't move my arm and soon she slowly starts to relax. I reach out and turn her head to look at me.

I whisper softly, "I'll never do anything to hurt you again, princess." She looks up at the pet name but only nods. I smile anyway and she forces a small smile in return.
The nurse comes in and takes all of her vitals then announces that she's okay and can go back to class unless she wants to go home.

Skylar stands up suddenly, knocking my arm off of her shoulder, and runs out of the room. A guy had just walked into the room, looking at her with guilt, overshadowed by a fake sneer. I immediately disliked him. He's competition for Sky's heart. She's mine.
