Here's the next chapter :) I actually updated it originally a long time ago but Wattpad was spazzing on me and the line breaks just kind of disappeared. So I got angry and deleted it and now I'm just now finally reposting it--sorry!
Anyway, the next one will be up fairly soon. I'm about halfway through it already and I'm feeling motivated so cross your fingers for me!
After I left my house all I could think about was Tyler and I’s kiss. I sped down the road, going over 100. I really needed to talk to my mom. Between Hadrian and Tyler I was going to go crazy if I didn’t talk to someone. I couldn’t talk to any of my friends, they would just yell at me for agreeing to meet with Hadrian, and I definitely couldn’t tell them about my kiss with Tyler. The whole group would become unbalanced. I knew my mom would understand why I had agreed to meet with Hadrian and she wouldn’t make things weird between anyone because of what Tyler and I did.
My hands gripped the steering wheel so tight that my knuckles were turning white. I forced myself to slacken my grip before I broke the wheel. That would be a fun one to explain to the auto shop.
I reached to my ipod sitting on the center consul and picked a song before blasting it until I couldn’t take it any higher. I rolled my window down. I whizzed past cars who glared at me.
I felt my mood lifting a little when my recent favorite song turned on. I began to sing along and by the time the song ended I was almost to my old home.
When I pulled in the driveway, I was in a much better mood. My mother stood on the porch scowling at me with her hands on her hips when I whipped into the driveway. I quickly shut my car off and locked my doors before stepping out. She hates my driving and how loud I play my music. Usually I turn it down when I reach her street but I kind of forgot today.
I gave her a sheepish look before walking towards her, my arms spread for a hug. Finally she cracked and met me with her arms around my shoulders. I held to her tight before releasing her. Not a second after I let her go, Dave raced out of the house and ran to me. He picked me up in a giant bear hug before putting me down again. I laughed.
“Nice to see you too, college boy. Every time I’ve come to visit you’ve been away!” I slapped his chest and heard a satisfying oomph in response.
“Hey, last time I went to visit you at your place, Kelly told me that you were on pack business, so I’m not totally to blame!” he defended.
I shrugged with a small smile. “Whatever.”
I ran my hand through his hair and he scowled at me. I laughed when he started to fix his hair out.
“Dude, way too much gel!” I wiped my hand off on my jeans. His hair had been spiked with some gel and looked pretty good actually.
I just wanted to mess with him.
He rolled his eyes at me before turning back to the house. My mom put an arm around my shoulders and led me into the house.
“So, what’s going on, sweetheart? When you called you sounded…on edge,” she said once David was out of earshot.
I sighed before turning to sit on the bottom porch step. “I don’t know if I want Dave to know what’s going on. I don’t think he’ll understand,” I said, avoiding the question easily.
“He’s your brother honey. I think he will,” mom replied.
I nodded and stood up, brushing off the seat of my jeans.
When we stepped into the living room, Dave was already sitting on the couch, TV remote in hand. I snatched it from him and turned the show off.
“We need to talk, no TV,” I told him.
