I growled when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I was in a pissy mood and I really didn't feel like speaking to anyone. I knew it was probably Sam but I also knew that he would understand by my growl that i didn't feel like talking right now.
Today in general just sucked. I was late to my first period class, causing me to get chewed out in front of the whole class, I had lost my math textbook and had absolutely no clue where it was, making me unable to do the assigned homework, I had fallen in a puddle of mud in gym and since i was already in a piss poor mood, i had mouthed off to Mrs. Michay when she yelled at me to get up and she had almost sent me to the principal's office when I refused to participate the rest of the day, and to top it all of, my shoulder hurt like a bitch. Werewolf healing or not, I was still sore from being shot with a silver bullet.
The fact that the guy who shot me knew enough to use a silver bullet scared me. He knew what he was doing and knew what I was when he shot me.
I was surprised when the weight on my shoulder didn't move. Thinking that this may not be Sam, i turned around.
And ended up with my face about an inch from Tyler's. He grinned cockily at me.
I jerked away with a sound of disgust. Slamming my locker door after grabbing all the things i needed tonight- except my math book- I thought bitterly, I turned to face him, making sure to have distance between us this time. I slung my bag over my shoulder.
"Would you like something?" I started walking towards the main doors, glad that it was friday. I had learned earlier in the day that Tyler had tranferred into my school. We still didn't know much about him but my dad had eagerly welcomed him into the pack, his reasoning being that he had saved my life.
"I want to know something." I looked at him out of the corned of my eye, frustrated that he still hadn't made his point.
My wolf and i snarled loudly in unison as he grabbed my upper arm and spun me to face him. I resisted the urge to bite his hand.
"I'll give you five seconds to remove your hand from my arm or I will remove it from your body." I growled out my words, feeling my pupils become smaller as my eyes turned my wolf than human.
I had to struggle to control my wolf even after he removed his hand.
"Touch me again and I swear to god, I will kill you whether my father seems to like you or not." I all but snarled my words.
If we weren't in a public place I would have ripped his face off right there.
"Sorry," he mumbled.
I just growled in return.
"Well? You have my attention. What the hell do you want to know?!" I looked around to the crowd of mostly humans surrounding us, with a few werewolves too and I saw my brother's face in the crowd.
"Humans." I whispered, almost silent but knowing that he and the other werewolves would catch it with their enhanced hearing.
I didn't want him saying something about the pack or werewolves while humans were present. That would be bad.
"Why do you hate me so much? What did I do wrong?" I scoffed at his hurt tone.
No way was i going to feel bad for him after his stunt with grabbing me.
"You're a cocky bastard! What other reason do I need!" I might have added the part about my wolf not liking him if the humans weren't around.
Damn him for choosing to do this now.
"What the hell did i do to make you think that I'm a cocky bastard?!" I glared as he took another step towrds me.
"Not another step." I glared menacingly at him, venom dripping from every word. I Saw a few of the lower wolves in the pack shrink back slightly at my tone, but he didn't move back like I hoped he would.
