Sorry to the people that have been reading this! My computer has been brokedn and i just (finally) was able to convince my mom to get it fixed.  Thank you for being so patient!

VERY IMPORTANT:

I was reading through and i realized that i never put WHY exactly everyone wants to kidnap Rhani. The reason is that she is the last white werewolf left in the world. Okay all done ;)

There was no mistaking it. This was to wolf. The eyes were such a  bright green i knew i would recognize them anywhere. I continued to run my eyes over him. He was well built and his facial features were sharp and oh so masculine.

I quickly snapped mysekf out of my thoughts when I realized that I had been staring. I met his startling eyes once again. He gave me a small smile before walking over to where I still sat in my bed. I looked down after a quick moment of panic to see if i was even dressed decently. Luckily i was wearing a black tank top and my favorite pair of pink fuzzy shorts (for sleeping purposes only, I assure you).

He sat at my feet without a word. I felt a strange urge to kick him in the gut and push him off. My wolf growled, not liking that this strange wolf was sitting on MY bed.

I couldn't help the snarl that rose from me as he reached out and put his hand on my foot which was still under the covers. He slowly, and wisely, moved his hand from my foot, watching me warily now.

"I'm sorry?" His voice was smooth but something was off about it. My wolf did NOT like it. She paced nervously.

"Who are you? Why are you in my territory? And even worse, my room?" A low growl accompianied my words.

I was not an alpha yet but I was to be one after my father stepped down. I would be the first female alpha. Well, other than the ones mated to a male who is already an alpha.

"My name is Tyler." I noticed how he did not answer my second question.

He raised an eyebrow when I stayed quiet, stubbornly waiting for him to answer my question fully.

"Why are you glaring at me?" He loked around my room and it was then that i realized that my mother had left, dissapearing downstairs.

I was alone with this creep.

"You didn't answer my question." I held back another snarl.

He sighed in defeat.

"Is it so hard to believe that i was worried about you ater i watched you get shot?" I winced, instantly feeling guilty for giving this guy the third degree.

But my wolf still didn't like him, making it hard for me to trust him.

"Sorry," I mumbled, my pride hurting with the apology.

"S'okay." He shrugged before giving me a small smile.

"So. You're welcome." I snapped my head back to him and straightneed my back in surprise. I felt my eyes widening.

What the hell? You're welcome? The hell is wrong with him? He smirked at my reaction.

"If I hadn't howled, your pack never would have found you." I narrowed my eyes.

"They would've come looking for me when I didn't come back. They aren't stupid."

He instantly gloated back, "Not in time. By the time they found you, you would've been dead."

I glared at him. I was about to tell him that he should go attack a moving car when a muffled meow came from the closet. I rolled my eyes, guessing Rhani had her own opinion about what was happening. I was about to continue speaking when Tyler looked away from me. And straight at the closet.

"What was that?"  What? Wait, he heard her? Oh my god. What's going on?

"The cat. She likes to hide in the closet and bury herself in my clothes." I spoke instantly, not wanting him to know my secret.

"Oh. Can I see-"

"No! I- I mean, she's not very friendly. She bites. And scratches." Yeah, way to go Rhani.

Real smooth.

He frowned. "Oh."

By now i had completely forgotten my previous anger.

"Can you just- I'm just- I'm really tired, okay? Can you come back later if you want to talk?"

He frowned. "Okay. I'll be back tomorrow then." He stood and slowly meandered out the door.

After assuring my mom that no, I was not going to die in my sleep, i sat on my bed, clutching my knees to my chest. I sat, stroking Emerald's fur, trying to process what was going on. So much had happened in so little time.

I had been shot. A wolf had gone freaking gaga over me. Said wolf showed up at my house and tried to make me feel guilty. And said wolf can also at least hear my ghost cat.

My life is so freaking screwed up.

I know it's short and all but the next one will be longer! Promise! I love your votes and fans and comments! They make my day and make me more into writing the next chapter!
