"I can't believe you actually wore pants with eyes on the butt!" I guffawed once again, after dragging him out of his apartment. "Dude you seriously need to update your sense of fashion man."

"What?" He whined. "That was one of my favorite pair of pants! I don't see what wrong with it!"

"I don't see what's not  wrong with it." I laughed. "Whatever. We're gonna get you new clothes. You better not retrieve that stupid pair of pants from the trash can." I warned.

"Hmph." He made a moue of annoyance.

I sniggered at that, which only annoyed him more.

"Where are you taking me off to anyway?" He demanded.

"A whole new world~" I sang, sarcastic.

"A new fantastic- Oh just shut up and tell me already!"

"How many times do you want me to tell ya the same thing? We are gonna go get you new clothes."  I rolled my eyes.

"Right. It's been quite long since I went shopping." He replied.

"What can I say except you're welcome~" I sang again.

"Seriously? Are we having a Disney riff-off now?" He laughed.

"Well," I shrugged. "Let it go~"

We burst out laughing. It felt so good to be with him again, in his presence at least, if not back together.

"So." He exhaled. "Hyejoo, right?"

Now that did not feel so good, pretending he didn't know me.

Yeah. And you are Bastard, right?  I wanted to retort. However, I just nodded and kept quiet.

I couldn't get it. Like what was his intention, feigning I was a stranger to him?

"I like that name." He smiled at me. "I suppose you already know mine, although I do not know how."

All I did was nod again.

We walked together for a couple of minutes when I suddenly broke the silence.

"When was the last time you went shopping?" I asked, curious.

"About.... A month ago? Yeah, somewhere around then. I was back in Busan when my girlfriend took me shopping."

GIRLFRIEND?!

I was so outraged and confused as to what was happening that I couldn't comprehend my next word. So he was cheating on me like I'd assumed. And how dare he acknowledge it to me!

I drew in a quick but deep breath.

"The girl who came with you the other day to the restaurant... Was she your girlfriend?" I blurted out suddenly, unable to stop myself. It took me a moment to realize what I'd asked. I silently swore.

"Yeah."

I immediately started loathing the girl. I might've not even known her name, but the hatred was REAL.

"Well, more like ex -girlfriend."

"You guys broke up?" It might seem petty of me but I kinda internally did a happy dance at that.

"Yeah. She cheated on me, and I tried to tell her that it was wrong and that I was willing to give her another chance when she went all no-no-no-he's-so-much-better-than-ya-goodbye and left." He shrugged.
