Reader's discretion: This is a sequel. If you haven't read the first book, I suggest y'all do. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to make out neither head nor tail out of this. So.... That's it. Leggo!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Less than a week to go! I thought to myself as I looked at the calendar app in my phone, walking over to the restaurant I worked in.
It has been nearly two months since he left for Busan.
And although I hate to say this and I find myself worrying whenever I think about it, we somehow lost contact. Like we used to talk everyday over the phone, of course, but after the first two weeks, I don't know why, he stopped picking up my calls, replying to my texts or my e-mails.
I assumed it was because he lost his phone or something and doesn't know my number, he's really bad at memorizing things. I know it was a very lame assumption, but it was better than thinking about all the actual possibilities as to why he was avoiding me.
Although I didn't really look like it, I was worried beyond an extent. And me being the stupid me, I still hadn't met his hyungs; at least then I would have had some idea about what has happened.
But noooooo. Ugh, there wasn't a day that I hadn't regretted it.
I opened the door of the restaurant, now having reached it. I went inside, into the room for the waiters, took my uniform, wore it and went out to see if there are any tables were service would be needed.
I stood behind the counter and looked at all the seated customers, when my eyes fell over at a certain couple.
The dude was sitting in such a way that his back was facing me and I could only see his hair and shoulders. He already had a small frame, and his dark hair only made him look smaller.
The girl sat facing me, so I could look at her face clearly. She had long blonde hair, so flawless it made me envious in an instant. She was really pretty, so much prettier than I was.
My eyes slowly drifted towards the center of the table, where I noticed their hands entwined.
I found myself sighing, reminiscing about Jimin. We had planned on starting college together. I wondered what he was doing there, at Busan.
It took a few moments for me to come back to earth and by the time I did, the young couple still had no food on their table. I kind of wanted to see how the dude looked like so I assumed no waiter had gone to their service yet.
I straightened my clothes, took a notepad and headed over to their table.
"Annyeonghaseyo! How may I help you?" I asked, looking at the girl.
"Seollongtang (ox bone soup) for appetizers and one Bimbibab would do." She replied, smiling.
"Sure." I noted it down and gave her back a smile.
I slowly turned my head towards the dude, anticipating how he looked, "And you sir-"
My eyes went wide and my mouth agape. I was so in shock that my notepad was on the ground.
I still had my mouth open in disbelief when he picked up my notepad himself and handed it over to me. "Here." He smiled.
His face held no remembrance or feelings. It was blank, except for a smile. I stared at him, but now with my notepad in hand.I still couldn't believe who I was seeing, that too, with some other girl.
"Jimin, stop making her wait. Tell her what you want to eat." The girl instructed him.
"Right. I'm so sorry. I would like a bowl of jjajangmyeon please." He said.
"Yeah. O-okay." I said, not meeting his eyes. Don't cry, don't cry, I told myself as I silently marked the order in the small check placed at a corner of the table.
I went inside the restaurant kitchen and gave them the order. I couldn't really think of anything, my mind was blank. You know those times when you just have so much to think about but your mind chooses to remain empty so you end up staring at some random thing near you? Yeah, that was how I was.
When the ordered dishes came, I took them and forced myself towards the table. I didn't want to go there again, but I had to.
My eyes were on the floor as I gave them their orders and before I knew it, I was back inside.
A few minutes had passed when I heard my manager call my name. "Hyejoo-ah! Come here for a minute."
I rushed out to see what the deal was about. "Neh, manager-nim?" I asked, going out, towards him.
"I suppose she was the one who had come to your attendance?" He asked the two people standing in front of him, who were none other than Jimin and Whoever-She-Was.
Of course. They are going to complain about me to manager-nim. I should've seen it coming from the way I acted towards them while serving, I thought.
"Yes, sir. Thank you." Jimin smiled and bowed slightly.
Noticing my confused expression, he smiled and said, "We called you here to thank you for your service. Sugohessaeyo." He bowed and gave me his eye smile.
I had so many things going on in my mind at that moment, From Oh. How nice to Don't you do this to me! to Yeah, and thank you for cheating on me you bastard!
However, of course, I said nothing but just bowed back. I couldn't take this crap anymore so I excused myself and went away from the place before my eyes could well up.
After they left the restaurant, I went over to the manager asked if I could take the day off, and seeing my face he could identify something was wrong but instead of digging up the issue he allowed me to leave for home.
I had never been more thankful to him before then.
The day had taken it's toll on me and I'd wanted to do nothing but go home and take a nap. That's what I did.

A/N: Okay, I know. I'm a little late.
OKAY. A lot late. If I'm not wrong, I was supposed to publish this about two weeks back.
DON'T KILL ME.
I wouldn't really say I was busy because i wasn't. Idk why, but I just couldn't bring myself to publish this sequel. I felt extremely unmotivated. I'm sorry, again.
I'll try to update as frequent as possible.
And before this ends, I want to clear something.
In Korean restaurants, if you call over the waitress asking for the check and/or hand over your credit card to pay, you might get a laugh or two out of her. At most Korean restaurants in Korea, the check is already at the table. They just mark whatever you ordered and leave the tallied check on the table. And at most restaurants in Korea, you'll have to bring that check to the front door to pay on your way out.
And one more thing. Sugohessaeyo is a very common expression in Korean. It literally means "you worked hard," but it's often used the same way we say "Thanks for all your help" in English.
So... yeah. Dat be it.
See y'all in the next chapter!
Toodle-oo!
