Hospital Break

Nemesis's POV

I ran down the hall as I made sure I wasn't being followed. I think I lost that guard back there, which is a relief. It took me a while to get to the first floor since I had to be careful not to bump into any doctors or nurses. But when I turned  turned the corner, the lobby was filled with doctors.

"Uh-oh. Not good. I just hope I don't get spotted." I murmured. But karma sure did decide to be a bitch when a nurse spotted me near the corner. "Miss, can I help you?" She asked. "No, I don't think so." I answered.

"Hey, stop that girl!" I turned around and cursed under my breath when the guard I was trying to lose ran this way. "That's Nemesis! She's a patient here, trying to escape! Kakashi Hatake said, she wasn't supposed to leave until she's better!" He informed.

Oh, please. This is a hospital, not a Psychiatric Ward. It's not like I'm a mental patient or something. They can't keep me here against my will. "Stop her!" The guard called.

"It's just one thing after the other." I mumbled before making a break for the exit. "Somebody stop her!" The nurse called. A doctor quickly got in my way and I slid between his legs. I quickly got to my feet as another doctor tried to stop me.

But I jumped up, grabbed his shoulders, and flipped over him. Just as I was about to reach the exit, Might Guy grabbed me and restrained me. "No! Let me go, Guy!" I yelled, angrily. "What do you think you're doing, Nemesis?!" He asked.

"You don't understand! I have to get out of here! I need to return to Akademi High School!" I shouted, desperately. "What on earth are you talking about?! What's an Akademi?!" Guy said. I bit down on his hand, causing him to let go of me.

I ran outside the hospital, looking back to make sure no one was following me until I bumped into Kakashi. Before I could even run past him, he grabbed my wrist. "Why are you running away, Nemesis?" He asked.

Before I could answer, Might Guy came running out of the hospital. "Nemesis, stop right there!" He called. "It's alright, Guy. I can take it from here. Now, back to my question; Why were you running out of the hospital?" Kakashi repeated.

"Because I need to return to my world. But I'm really feeling better now. Honest." I insisted. "And how am I supposed to believe you when you're escaping the hospital?" He asked.

"Yes, I know this looks bad for me. But you have to believe just this one time. I'm sorry, but I can't stay here any longer. Thank you for the hospitality that you and your team has shown over the past few weeks. I really appreciate everything you've done for me. But I need to return home. Please, Kakashi... I'm begging you to let me go." I said.

Kakashi stared into my red eyes before sighing. "Why do I get the feeling I'm gonna regret this descision later?" He let go of my wrist. "Okay, I believe you." He said. "Thank you." I said, sighing in relief.

"Now, where exactly were you going?" Kakashi asked. 'Well, for one thing, I was trying to get away from Kabuto.' I thought; He gives me the creeps. "I was going to go to the woods. That was where I woke up when I entered your world. I think there should be something there that could get me back to my world." I explained.

"Hmm... Okay, go. If you believe there's something there, then I won't stop you. Go ahead and do what you need to do." Kakashi said. "Farewell, Kakashi." I gave a bow of respect, then ran to the woods. Please, let there be something there that will get me home.

I need to go home.
