Survival. The state or fact of continuing to live or exist, typically spite of an accident, ordeal, or difficult circumstances. have you ever heard the phrase "survival of the fittest." In the struggle of survival, the fittest win out at the expense of their rivals because they succeed in adapting themselves best to their environment. You see its not the strongest that survive nor the most intelligent. It's the ones who are the most adaptable to change. Ash and I had left the building we had been staying in at sundown like we had planned. That was around one week ago. Since then we have been camping out in the overgrown around the city which resembles the woods. Ash has been helping me 'adapt to this change' in my life. Unlike him I've been locked away my hole life I wouldn't know where to begin on going about my life where as Ash who is much more experienced in survival. He had been I guess you could say "coaching" me. He had taught me to fight, how I could use being small to my advantage. He taught me basic skills like how to scavenge, travel without being discovered, and other basic survival skills. He wants me to be prepared incase of the worst. I think I've been so blinded by my anger and grieving that I've been in denial that were not safe. We are on the run, were endangered. There is a chance that we could be caught and even worse Ash and me could be separated.
