Haunted House( Harry Styles FanFic)

Chapter 2

I wake up in the middle of the night because I'm thirsty. I open my eyes and I see someone hovering over me. I can't see their face because it's dark. I scream and freak out. I hurry and close my eyes just in case I'm just seeing them. When I open my eyes they are gone. My heart is pounding really fast right now. I get up off of the couch.

I walk out into the hallway and I look around. I feel a presence behind me. When I turn around I see a shadow of someone but they diappear fast. I freak out and head down the stairs towards the door. I try to open the door but it won't open. I hear laughing echoing around the house. I look up at the stairs and there is a boy about my age looking down at me with an evil smirk. " Let me leave. " I says. He looks at me and smirks. " I'm sorry, but I can't. " He says. " You can't keep me here. I'll find a way out. " I say. " There is no way out. " He says. He disappears.

I hear laughing echoing around the house. I lean against the door and fall down. I cup my hands in my face. I can feel the tears forming in my eyes. I hope I find a way out of here. I walk back up the stairs and into the room. I pull out my phone and text my friend to come and find me. 

I try to text her but I have no service right now. Damn. I sit down on the couch and I lay down. I try to fall back asleep, but I can't. I can try to escape. I sit up and try to think of how to escape. I walk over to the window. I take off my shoe, I'm about to hit it against the window but I hear his voice. " Very nice, but it won't work. " He says. I ignore him and hit it against the window and it won't break. I fall down to the ground crying into my hands. " Please let me go. " I say. 

I feel a presence behind me. I turn around and I see the boy standing behind me. " I'm going to be nice and give you a little challenge, and if you succeed you can leave this house. " He says. I look down at the ground and sigh to myself. I don't want to do a stupid challenge, but maybe I should so I can get out of here. " ok. so what's the challenge. " I ask looking up at him. " If you want to get out of the house you're going to need a key, so they challenge is you're gonna have to look for the key. I'm going to give you 7 hours to find it, but if you can't you will be stuck in this house forever. good luck. " He says and disappears. This challenge seems easy... I hope.
