Daisy stepped out of the chimney, still thinking about the kiss that Scorpius planted on her lips. She couldn't help but smile. The Ministry of Magic was busy as always but it was more busy than usual. r were running around, trying to get everything that was happening in Hogwarts back to normal, students were trying to find their parents, and Daily Prophet writers were trying to get the story from the students. She wondered with her parents would be there.
A male Daily Prophet writer with dyed red hair, brown eyes, and a grin that could last forever approached Daisy with his notepad and Quick Quotes Quill. She looked at his clothes and wanted to laugh. He was wearing bright red shoes with yellow shoelaces, white pants with vertical bright yellow stripes that were hard on the eyes, a bright neon pink button up shirt with vertical yellow stripes, a neon green blazer with vertical yellow stripes, a black bow tie with vertical yellow stripes, and a circle hat with, you guessed it, vertical yellow stripes.
"Hello," He greeted. His accent was American and he had a strong lisp and a high pitched voice. "My name is Keegan Haze and I just saw you get out of the chimney from Hogwarts. I was wondering if you could answer some of my questions and what your name is?"
"Uh, sure," Daisy replied, glancing at the Chimney to see if Scorpius came back yet. "It's Daisy Dursley."
"Greaaaaat," Keegan Haze said, keeping the 'a' sound for too long. "So what was actually happening there? What were you emotions? And how did you manage to escape? Who was in charge of it? What was that person's purpose? Was he a follower of You-Know-Who, oh, I mean Voldemort. I can say that now because he's dead, finally, for years actually. My head was buzzing with joy when I found out he died. It was a great day for us all. You weren't even born yet-."
"I'm sorry, Mr. Haze. You're speaking way too quickly about things that don't matter," Daisy interrupted, getting more frustrated each second. Not because of Haze's yapping, although that did contribute, but because Scorpius wasn't here yet. "He said he'd be right behind me..." Daisy murmured.
"Oh, yes, I'm so sorry. I can't control my mouth sometimes. Wait. What did you mean he'd be right behind you? Who? Is it the things that are going on at Hogwarts because I still need to get the story because if not then my boss will fire me and then I'll have to go back to the United States and face my parents who told me that I wouldn't make it as a Daily Prophet writer."
As Haze was going on and on, Daisy rolled her eyes and looked at the Chimney right behind him. Suddenly, the chimney's fire turned green and she smiled. Finally, she thought. She saw a figure show up but this wasn't Scorpius. She recognized him. It was Gavin, one of Adam's Risebloods. He locked eyes with Daisy and rose his wand and casted a spell towards her.
Quickly, she got her wand from her pockets and pulled on Haze's hand, pushing him away. "Look out!" She quickly fired a spell to block Gavin's.
When that happened, more Risebloods got out from the Floo chimneys. Everyone in the Ministry of Magic were running around like crazy. The parents dissaperated with their children and the Aurors started to fight back.
"Oh, Daisy!" Haze cried, almost as if he was playing Juliet in Romeo and Juliet. "You saved my life. How could I ever repay-?"
"Shut up and run, Haze!" Daisy snapped.
Without another word, Haze clumsily got to his lanky long feet and scurried away. Gavin continued to throw spells at Daisy, but she kept blocking them. Oh, no. What if Scorpius is in trouble?!
"Daisy!" Gavin snapped.
"What did you do? What happened at Hogwarts?"
"You think a couple of Aurors can beat us? That's pathetic."
