Scorpius PoV
Oh, god. What did I just say? Did I actually just say that? Please, please, please, PLEASE let that be a scene from my imagination.
"No one can love her more then I do!" Bradley defended.
"That's where you're wrong, Criss," Daisy answered, standing up with a grin on her face. She walked over to me and locked arms with me. "Because I do believe that Malfoy loves me more than you. First of all, you are such a creeper; second, you're my best friend and I wouldn't date you because it would be like dating a brother; third, Gretchen would be mad at me--not even mad, infuriated--that I would be dating you. So, to put it in a nutshell, get out of here."
Bradley stood there, defenseless and 'heartbroken'. He took a deep breath and said, "Fine. But this is not the end, alright?" With that, he nodded and left the room.
Daisy took a deep breath like Bradley and let go of my hand. "Good thinking, Malfoy. Saying that you love me was a really good story. Good job." She smiled and sat back down on the seat in front of me.
But it wasn't a story... I really love you. I sat back down and slurped on the soda that was in front of me. "That was crazy, innit?"
"Totally," Daisy laughed, fixing her hair. "I hope the love potion wears out... I miss having Bradley around."
"Love potion?" I asked.
Daisy nodded. "You see, my mental partner, Prevot, wants to scam me because she wants to take all the glory."
And for the whole afternoon, Daisy and I chatted away about our partners, summers, and just stuff that regular people would talk about. None of us would bring back what happened in first year and that made me happy. I wondered if she ever forgave me and if she didn't, I would understand. I hoped that his would be a fresh start.
"So, are you ready for the First Task tomorrow?" Daisy asked as we walked to the Durmstrang Dorms.
I chuckled and ruffled my hair. "I suppose so. Boris and I are cooperating well so I don't think there is going to be a problem. I'm worried about you, though."
"I'll be find, I hope," Daisy answered. She looked at the door and there was a small hole in the middle of the grand door. She too out her wand, inserted it, and said, "Daisy Dursley. Orchideous."
When she took out her wand, flowers appeared out of the hole and the door began to open slowly, exposing the beautiful interior of the Durmstrang Dormitory.
She looked at my confused face and laughed when she explained, "We have to put the wand into the small hole and say a spell that describes you. When I was in Durmstrang, I was the first one in my class to master Orchideous--a spell that makes a bouquet of flowers--. And because Daisy is a type of flower." She giggled and put her wand back into her bag. "Thanks, Scorpius," Daisy said before entering the dorms. "I had fun today and it really took my mind off things." She took my hand, tiptoed and softly kissed me on the cheek. "We need to do this again."
"Sure," I answered smiling at her. When she closed the door behind her, I did a powerful fist into the air in success.
When I entered the dorm, I saw Liam casually reading a book. A looked at him with a strange face and wondered where Mona was. He looked at him and smiled.
"Why are you staring at me like that?" Liam asked putting the book down.
"It's kind of weird to not see you and Mona snogging..." I answered truthfully.
"We broke up."
I froze. "Sorry."
"No, it's okay. She's a freak. When I was walking around Hogsmeade with a girl that barley came from Durmstrang, Mona saw me and she was yelling at me and accusing me of cheating. I was just being nice to the girl, geez."
