It was the bright morning sun that woke up Seokjin from his deep sleep. His long eyelashes parted and realeased his dark hazel eyes. His full lips parted as well to set a yawn free. Teers appeared in the boys eyes and the sun shone warm and lovely to welcome the young man in the reality. He decided to get up and start his day. His feet sneaked through the white carpet on the bedroom floor on the way to the wardrobe. His hands grabbed a white shirt and black ripped jeans. He left to fresh up in the bathroom when he noticed that bringing along a fresh pair of boxershorts would be a good idea. Hot water woke him up fully up and brought a smile on the boys plump lips. When he was ready to start his day there was one more person to bring alive. And that person was Seokjins best friend, Kim Namjoon. He was a weird guy, changed his hair color like pencils to color a picture, had a bright smile that could light up Jins mood even if he cried before and a voice that was as rough as Seokjins chin when he forgot to shave for two weeks.
When Seokjin finally got his grumpy friend out of bed the next step was to make them breakfast. Namjoon wouldnt eat at all, not even if his older friend tried to feed him. Seokjin decided to eat a bowl of cereals since he ran out of butter and the jams where about to end as well. He mentally made a note that he should go to the next supermarket and buy the things he needed the most, chocolate for example. He then enjoyed his breakfast together with Namjoon who only sat there and watched his hyung without a word. While the good taste of the simple snack melted Seokjins tounge the younger of them jsut admired his friends beauty. How his blonde hair covered his eyes when he leaned forward to take the spoon in his mouth. His skin looked so soft and pure like the milk he just swallowed from his last spoon. He hummed in satisfication with a lovely voice Namjoon loved to listen to. The older was a true beauty.
Seokjin left the appartment at eight o'clock like he always does. His way to the cafe he worked in wasn't far away from his home and he enjoyed the sun once again. At least the sun was still warm. The autumn already walked through the streets of Seoul, made the weather colder and the days shorter. He painted the leafes in his favourite colors and brought a lot of rain with him. Seokjin missed the wet drops recently since the summer was hot and the rain didn't fight that. The fresh air around him were really pleasant to his nose and airways. It cleared the waiters mind and made him happy and ready for work. Namjoon never understand how a person could love work as much as Seokjin did, but the older just loved his job, his co-workers were nice and his boss had mercy on every misstake of his employees. It was a nice atmosphere to work and made everybode more comfortable.
Namjoon would arrive in the small cafe half an hour later than his friend and sit down on his usual place. He would write in his notebook or on his laptop since he was an author. Seokjin never read one of his books but that wasn't a problem to both of them. The actual problem was that Namjoon didn't came that day. He never appeared at Seokjins working space. The older was worried first but his co-worker Hyukjae really needed help and so he wasn't able to call his friend or even leave to look for him. The calming fragrancy of coffee filled Sekjins nostrils when he started to serve the cups to his visitors. He managed to smile kindly the whole day, even if he was worried about Namjoon. When he arrived at home he was even more worried. Namjoon wasn't there either, only a sheet of papaer laid on the desk the two of them ate breakfeast on that morning.
20 days left to live.
Seokjins hand, lower lip and his heart dropped.
