A week passed by and Namjoon had only 13 days left to explore his life. They went to swim with dolphins in a rehabilitation centre. It was weird but Seokjin loved it. Playing with a cute animal was fantastic. They swam with the water animals and made fun with them a lot. Namjoon even got a kiss on his cheek from a dolphin, what made Seokjin laugh and cheer. The animals were frinedly and not shy so it was easy to get to know them and get along with them. This was a really new experience to Seokjin who never got so close to an animal ever in his life. While Namjoon played with his new friends the older sat at the rim of the pool and watched his friend with a wide smile plasered on his face. He was pleased with Namjoon being happy, that was the reason while he was even here, to make his best friend happy. When the younger dragged back into the water, Seokjin let go of every glimpse of being serious and enjoyed the time with his friend and the cute animals.
Namjoon talked like a waterfall the whole way home and was happy like he finished school. Seokjin just listened to his friend and looked at the grey footwalk. His thoughts slowly drifted away from his best friends death and back to the times they ate ice cream together and laughed like five year old boys. When they ran through the summer rain, holding their jackets over their heads to not get wet. They never had to fear anything, they just ignored dumb looks. A tear ran down Seokjins skin and Namjoon gave him a worried loock while he wiped the tear away before he hugged his friend tightl who just stood there and let this happen. He didn't want that to end, but he didn't felt like hugging him back. He just closed his eyes and breathed in. It felt like a never ending thing but Namjoon stepped away way to soon. "Let's just go home.", the younger mumbled, grapped Seokjins hand and lead the way. The older flushed red and followed his friend.
They didn't have more plans for that day so the younger suggested to start their photo wall. Seokjin helped him to stick the polaroid pictures at the wall. He got the violet fairy lights back and decorated the wall with it while Namjoon got some stickers from old magazines to make it even more pretty. They looked at their work with happy faces. "Way to less pictures, don't you think so?", the author asked and smiled at the older who chuckled lightly and nodded. They made dinner together, Namjoon cut the vegetables and Seokjin finished their meal and gave it a better taste. They ate togheter, laughing and Namjoon feed his carrots to his flatmate who slightly blushed at that. They enjoyed that evening as much as the other days. Namjoon seemed more alive and awake and not as pale as he did the last days. "I'm glad to have you here by my side for a few more days Seokjin. Thank you, I mean it. I appreciate all the ideas and work you put in our last days. I couldn't wish for a better friend than you. I love you so much for being there for me.", Namjoon finished and hugged his friend a last time that evening.
