Chapter XL: Finale

AFTER 15 YEARS

ARJORIE'S POV

Its been fifteen years after the incident. I am already working in publishing house after I graduated since I'm an intern before. I'm already 35 years old, get aged and still single. I never get in a relationship since the incident. There's some guys asking me for a date but I never say yes. I don't know why I never agree maybe I'm waiting on someone? No.. I don't think so.. How will I wait on someone that is already gone. He don't exist anymore.

While waiting for the green light. I'm standing in front a pedestrian lane, watching the moves of people around me as the snow fall on the ground. Its really Christmas. I let out a sigh. I look forward and face the people who waiting on the other side. Then people start to walk on the other side when the traffic light change so do I.

I walk towards on my work place as I turn on the side when I bump on someone. My things fell on the ground. Tsk. I grab my books and noticed that the guy who bump on me helping me out. I'm glad he help me or else I'll rant on him but he's familiar though. After I gathered my things, I left him without saying a word. You're welcome he said. Should I thank him because he help me? No. Its his fault not mine

As I walk I heard my phone ring. I grab it on my bag and answer the call. It's my boss anyways.

"Hello,sir?"

Where are you now? The new ceo is already here. He's asking you.

"Oh. I'm on my way sir. I'm just two blocks away" I said

Okay. Hurry. He looks like terror he jokes.

I chuckled and hang up. I walk fast as much as I could. When I reach the company. I immediately walk inside the elevator. I headed on my boss office. He told me to go in the office of CEO but why? I asked my boss but he just shrugged.

I run towards the office of CEO. I knock before I enter his office.

"Good afternoon sir.." I say as I bowed my head.

Gosh. I forgot to ask his name on my boss

"Sir.. I heard you are asking me.. What do you need Sir?" I said but he remain silent

I look at him. He looks like he just arrived awhile ago. He's wearing a black shades. He's wearing a black long coat, tuck white polo inside, a black jeans and a black leather shoes. He really looks familiar. He's half sitting on the table while crossed arms.

"Well there's one. Come here" he said as he stand and remove his shades. He's the guy earlier!

So do I.

"What is it sir?"  I said as I come close

He pull my arms and wrap his arms tight around my waist. What the fuck he think his doing?!

"Can I bite you?" He said, staring on my neck. I feel his breath on my neck that gives me shivers.

Before I respond, he bite my neck. I shout in pain but I know it didn't bleed. So this person was not vampire. He made an eye contact on me. I was surprised when I realized who is the guy right in front of me.. He's still the same. His face never change, he's still young. I have no idea how did he come back again but I'm happy.

"Hickey instead of sucking blood. You want that right baby?" He said as he smiled

I smiled as my tears came out and fall on my cheeks. I hugged him, he hug me tight.

"I missed you so much"  I said

"I promised you right? I will never leave you again" he said as he cupped my cheeks.

I smiled

"I wish you've had bit me for real. I want us together. Forever" I said

"I will do that baby but for now.. this.." He said and kiss me on my lips. I close my eyes and kiss him back.

"I love you, Arjo" he said

"I love you too, Jungkook" I said

"H-how did you came back?" I asked

"Because of you.. You saved me" he said

I smiled.

He intertwined both of our fingers and step outside the office. Everyone in the company staring us. They are surprised. They are seeing me with the guy for the first time ,they thought I will be nun soon but here I am with Jungkook. Their reactions are priceless. ㅎㅎ

When we already outside the company. Jungkook and I spend the Christmas together. And in the end of the day, we're on his bed hugging him as he whispering dirty secrets on me. I kiss him on lips, he did too. He smiled, I smiled. This will be our always. I know there will be struggles in our way but I will make sure that we will face it together. We always have each others back.
