Jungkook P.O.V

"Jin-hyung," I quietly said to the sky, "I miss you."

"Taehyung-ah, I wish you were here to laugh with me, to play with me along with Jimin-ssi. I miss you..I miss you all so much. Please be okay," I silently begged.

I stared over at the ruined city a while longer before I heard footsteps coming towards me, "Jungkook-oppa," it said. I slowly turned around to see a girl with jet-black hair which was tied in a messy bun, she had chocolate-brown eyes and a small circular face.. She's quite cute if I think about it.. "Oppa," it said again.

"Oh, Ji Su! Annyeong!" I playfully chirped, hoping she wouldn't sense my sadness from minutes before.

"I think I found a lead on Taehyung-oppa!" She exclaimed.

My heart swelled with happiness, Taehyung's okay... "Where is he?" I eagerly asked. When her face fell a little, I knew I hoped a little too much...

"Well, I know where Taehyung-oppa is... but.. it will be hard to get him," she said sadly.

My eyebrows furrowed as I stood confused at what she just said, "How hard is it to get him?" I desperately asked, "It can't be that hard," I said, close to tears.

"I'm just kidding!" She exclaimed, "Taehyung-oppa's rescue will be easy-peasy!"

I sighed in relief, "When are we leaving to get him?" I asked.

She rested her hands below her chin and seemed to be in deep thought. Finally, after a minute or two, she gazed back at me thoughtfully, "What about now?" she wondered aloud.

"Hmm..Okay!" I said before hopping off the bed and onto her back. She squealed loudly by the sudden action and immediately tried to push me off. Only after I fell flat on the ground, I realised what I just did. My face reddened in embarrassment at the thought that I just jumped on some random girl I just met. I imagined what it would've been like if she had jumped on my back like that.. That'd be so adorable, I thought. I quickly shook off the thought, even more embarrassed now than I was before. Bad Jungkook. I scolded myself internally. Why are you thinking of this shit when Taehyung was just found. You cannot have some high school crush on a girl you just met. This is not the time. No. Not the time at all.

"Uh.. Jungkook-oppa, are you okay there?" she whispered confusedly.

"Huh?" I blurted out.

"I asked whether you were okay.." she repeated, uncertain. "You were sitting on the ground shaking your head and occasionally slapping yourself while mumbling something.."

"I was..?" Fuck. This is so embarrassing.

"Yeah.. You sounded a bit like a crazy person.." she muttered.

"Hah.. I guess I did.." I mumbled quietly before chuckling awkwardly. "So..." I said, attempting to change the subject, "Are you hungry? Cause I'm starving. Is there a McDonalds around here? I'm craving a burger. Don't worry! They'll serve you as well! I mean it's not like you're going to eat them or anything." I rambled thoughtlessly as I rubbed my stomach in circles.
