I rush to get to the council on time.
I didn't mean to be late.
Nope cross that out I did mean to be late.
I refuse to be respectful to them, they ruined my life after all.
So I purposely open the door slowly.
As soon as I arrive, my eyes drift to a girl, she looks really familiar.
My eyes scan her body she is probably the royal girl.
But then again she doesn't look like a royal she looks like, well someone like me a commoner.
She's has on some baggy pants and a shirt, they look way too big for.
Yet she's kind of pretty.
Her cheeks turn a bright shade of red as she blushes.
Her eyes watch me she has such an intense gaze.
''Ahem'' the council says suddenly startling us both.
I turn around to face them.
They say in unison ''your late''
You think I care is what I want to say but I just say "Sorry" and shuffle my feet uneasily.
''Try not make the same mistake again'' they say in unison again, that's starting to get odd.
Then the head of the council Dan or something stands up and beckons me and the girl to come forward.
I slowly walk forward dragging my feet, he takes my hand and the girl's and slices our palms with a knife.
I wince at the pain and squeeze my hand into a fist and let drops of my blood mix into the bowl along with hers.
"Kneel" Dan orders, I bend on on knee as he mixes the blood with the tip of his wand.
Then he starts chanting the ancient bonding spell between royals and their commoners.
Finally finished he order us to hold out our hands as I do he spills our mixed blood into our palms.
Repeat after me "forem theon jofou theon gurb forem Scarlet forem theon jofou theon Cade forem theon jofou."
Hold out your hands he orders, he grabs mine and touches the tip of his wand into my wound I wince.
Then taking his wand he presses the tip of it into the girls hand.
Raising the wand above his hand he says "combine your hands."
I hesitantly take her hand and clasp our hands together.
A spark of lighting hits our clasped hands, and I shoot backwards and land on the ground my hand throbbing.
I look up as Dan's shadow looms over me "get up" he orders.
I push my hand on the ground to help myself up only to relaize its covered in blood.
Dan rolls his eyes and with a swish of his wand I rise to my feet.
"You are free to go, just rembember the bond won't fade until your life actually gets better" he says shoving me out the door. And listen to Dan or something's words. Soon enough he is done. He nods at us and says.
The girl stumbles out with me and I turn to face her.
