First of all let me apologize I know I said every SATURDAY not every SUNDAY but yesterday I was over at the new house cleaning up the mess that the "worker" made. Turns out him and his girlfriend are either living there or letting someone live there. My room has their clothes in it while my sister's has their make shift bed. Also their dog lives there as well. Yesterday I spent the day (from about 8 AM to 8 PM) cleaning up the sheet-rock, random boards, and other building supplies that he was pretending to do so he could stay there longer then sweeping, vacuuming, and washing the floors. ANYWAYS on to chapter 3.

(Paisley's POV)

"Mrs. Washington?" My head popped up from the hospital bed as I heard the fake name leave the mouth of someone I didn't recognize. Looking over to the door I noticed a slightly older woman leaning in. "I didn't mean to wake you I was just wondering if you would change Mr. Washington's bandages? I have a very sick patient in the next room and I would like to keep watch on her." Smiling I nodded and stood up as she smiled and closed the door leaving me in darkness and silence.

Reaching over I grabbed my phone and clicked on the screen, flinching hard as the bright light hurt my eyes. Looking over the screen I saw I had many notifications and it wasn't as early as I thought. The screen reported that it was only 5:19. Laying my phone back down I stood and stretched before opening the curtains so light could come in. Since Josh had been in the hospital more than I had and seeing as I had come to see him daily the nurses taught me how to correctly change bandages.

As Josh slept I pulled the railing down and grabbed some alcohol, cotton balls, sterile padding, and medical tape to hold the gauze before walking back to the bed. Gently I pulled the medical tape off Josh's cheek. I had to stop as I reached the first stitch, did I really want to see the stitches that made Josh look human. Pressing one hand to my stomach I smiled. These stitches would help our child not be scared by his face. Slowly, so I didn't hurt Josh, I pulled away the gauze revealing Josh's stitches. They were crude and had started bleeding so I grabbed a cotton ball and put some alcohol on it before softly cleaning the blood up. Josh flinched slightly at the pain but then continued sleeping.

Once finished I covered his cheek again and taped it down. As I finished taping it down I heard the door open. Turning I noticed it was Brooke, yet again. She hadn't apparently noticed I was awake as she pushed open the door and snuck in. As I stared at her I reached up and turned on the lamp. Immediately her head turned and she locked eyes with me. Raising my eyebrows I gestured for her to leave which, surprisingly, she did without a word. Bitch is getting smart.

Shaking my head I grabbed my phone and went through my notifications as I sat back down in my chair. Most of them were just game notifications or pictures I had been tagged in. Smiling I liked a couple before closing the app and locking my phone. There was usually nothing to do here so I was used to it. Setting my phone down I grabbed an outfit from my bag and walked to the bathroom. It didn't take long to switch clothes, maybe because I don't like Josh being alone or maybe because I just change quick. I don't know, you don't know.

Brushing my clothes down I twirled a bit, smiling when my skirt twirled and fell back against my bare thighs. After weirdly twirling around in a hospital bathroom for five minutes I brushed through my long black hair and pulled it back into a ponytail while leaving my bangs out. Making sure it looked good I slipped on my shoes and walked back into the main room. Josh was awake.

"Good morning handsome." I greeted as I walked over to his bed. Smiling he sat up with his back against his pillows.

"'Morning babygirl." My eyes widened a little as Josh's raspy voice met my ears. Looking up at him I realized he was smirking. "What's wrong?" Rolling my eyes I reached up and covered his lips, concealing his smirk. Gently his long fingers wrapped around my little wrists and pulled them back enough for him to lean forward and kiss my lips softly. Giggling I kissed him once again before pulling my hands forward so they slipped into his. "So Dr. Washington..." My head fell back as I laughed. "How's my face? Normal?"

"Almost, baby." I responded as I thought back to his stitched face. Most of his teeth were still sharp as a wendigo's so he had cotton over them so they didn't tear anything. Thinking back I remembered the legend. "Hey, Josh?" I asked softly.

"Yeah?" His voice was soft as if he knew what I was going to ask next.

"You know I love you, right?" I avoided asking my question making him look at me curiously before leaning forward and kissing me softly. Once he pulled back I looked into his eyes. His soft brown eyes were shining like someone had put glitter in his eyes. Gently I ran my thumb over the medical tape on his cheek.

"Yeah I know and I love you too." He responded before leaning back against his pillows. "How are you and my boy."

"Nuh uh she's not a boy!" I argued.

"Yes he is! A very strong, loving boy!" As we argued over the sex of our baby I couldn't help but smile. Most of our friends were on Josh's side, a strong healthy baby boy, while my parents and Josh's mother were on my side, a delicate healthy baby girl. It had been a war since I announced my pregnancy to our families. Josh's father doesn't care what the gender is or even if the baby is born healthy. He doesn't like that I'm even with Josh.

A knock at the door made us stop arguing and turn to look at the door as it was pushed open and two familiar faces appeared.

"Mom...dad..."
