Chapter 5| Young

I was making some sweets for Azi while he was gathering something in his hands. He's been attempting to fly but his wings weren't sturdy enough yet, so he would often plop right back onto the ground.

I couldn't help but smile at everything he does. He's just such an adorable little angel... well, devil.

To think that a couple of months from now, he'll be as tall as Jungkook. Devils grow at an inhuman pace but that doesn't change their maturity. Younger devils may look like their in their twenties and still act as if they're five.

"Azi, come in and eat something" I said, placing the plate onto the table.

"I'm coming!" Azi gleefully responded.

I smiled as Azi ran towards me, he hid his hand behind his back and I was curious to see what he was keeping. Azi revealed his hands and held up a bouquet of beautiful flowers in his tiny hands.

"Here, I found your favorite kind of flowers." He extended his arms towards me and a mischievous smile formed on him.

"Hey you can't just go through my entire profile without my consent like that." I placed my hands on my hips jokingly.

I looked into his deep hazel eyes beaming at me with the sweetest smile. I laughed thinking about where such a young little boy learned to do such heart fluttering things. I took the flowers from his hands and inhaled the florescent aroma.

"Thank you Azi these are beautiful." I smiled as a ruffled his hair.

Azi ran over to the table, where I had left the baked sweets, and climbed on top of a chair reaching out for a cookie. I watched Azi stuff the cookies into his mouth lusciously.

The little devil finished satisfying his appetite and let out a long yawn signifying his bedtime. I chuckled at the way his cute cheeks lifts when he yawns.

"Did all those cookies make you sleepy Azi?"

He nodded as he rubs his eye. Just then he leaped into my arms and curled into a little ball on my lap. His head rested against my chest and I wrapped my arms around his small figure. I was shocked at first, but a smile soon glistened upon my lips. I stroked Azi's hair as he falls asleep in my arms.
