A handsome young figure illuminated the cave opening, outshining the sun itself. His shadow moving at a speed in which my eyes failed to keep up with. His foot swept leaves airborne into the dense space as it executed a brake to halt his rush.

The furry creature that came before him had sharp eyes, seeking a quick hiding spot. Unfortunately, the cave resembles an open field with nothing to hide behind. As a final resort, the baby fox trotted over and hid behind my leg as though it was enough to cover him.

Azi came towards the creature with heavy steps and caught it in his arms. I took a moment to absorb the changes; he grew. Much taller, and yet his baby like features remained untouched.

Azi cradled the baby fur ball and tugs at the chain in its mouth. Looking closer at the piece I noticed it had a familiar appearance. I could sense it's detailed as though...

"Yuck!" Azi groaned once the piece covered in fox spit came out of its snout. Placing the baby down, Azi violently shook away the slim off of the golden piece. When his arm stretched the jewelry towards me, my hand immediately reached for my neck. My necklace...

"This naughty thing got a hold of it, making me chase it down for days!" Azi complained, glaring at the baby fox.

"Haven't I warned you to not wander outside of where you should be." The voice that bellowed behind me reminded me of the dark cloud that accompanied me here.

My heart nearly ended when the wave of his radiating fury passed through my body. My limbs refused to move when I saw the terrified gaze in Azi's eyes. When I sensed his fear, I instinctively placed myself in front of Azi as a protective mother would.

Jungkook was storming over our way, his orbs flashing a deep shade of maroon. He wasn't in control of himself and that somewhat frightened me. His infuriated gaze was locked upon Azi without a blink, and certainly not minding my presence. When we were breaths away, I remained in his way of getting to Azi.

His eyes flickered onto mine in warning, but something told me he wouldn't hurt me. Refocusing onto Azi, he took a step forward, ready to shove past me. In a moment of panic, I wrapped my arms around his neck. His claws gripped at my waist, digging into my flesh and calling out my blood. Bitting my lip at the pain I was still determined to hold him back from doing something he's regret.

After a stream of blood had been drawn out of me, I finally felt his muscles soften and relax. I could sense his deadly aura reverting back into his plain cold one. His nails pulled away from my skin but his grip around me remained. He was stunned and I didn not have the option to move.

"Please don't hurt him." I found myself pleading.

He remained without movement, not answering to my plea nor denying it. Suddenly I realized that this pain on my waist was beginning to disappear and the concern leaked over me. Without thinking, I dropped my hands to his torso in the same area I had been injured. And sure enough, blood was seeping through the fabric around him.

With enough force, I was able to pull myself away. The guilt I felt began coiling around my heart and it demanded me to treat his wound. I did not think twice before slightly tugging up his shirt to treat the wound, but my cheeks flushed in warmth at the sight of his build. He wasn't in a hurry to stop me from whatever I was doing but I could feel his stare on top of me. Tearing off a part of my dress, I managed to stop the blood from streaming.

"Azi leave." Jungkook suddenly demanded.

And within a heartbeat, he was out of sight. Before I could fully stand up straight, my back was forced onto the rocky wall behind me. His hand held either side of my waist down while fixing his burning orbs on me.

"Why." It wasn't a question.

I lowered my eyes towards his chest as he towered over me, "I was scared you were going to hurt Az-"

"How'd you know I wouldn't have killed you for getting in the way?" He pressed.

I stared into his eyes, "You wouldn't."
