Jungkook refrained from moving a muscle. His deep dark eyes surveyed every corner on the circle they've formed around him. He also took note of where Azi was located.
The cold wind swept through the trees causing leaves to fall around him. Jungkook closed his eyes and processed his surroundings. A powerful force rushed through his veins and into the ends of his fingertips.
Though it would be difficult for Jungkook to kill all of the devils in one blow, it wasn't imposible. He just needed Azi to position himself properly when he does. Otherwise little Azi wouldn't make it out with a beating heart.
"Hey isn't that a new-born devil over there?" queried one of the female devils upon the gang. Her eyes pierced through the fog, trying to achieve a more vibrant focus of Azi, who was hiding himself with his undeveloped invisibility.
The girl gasped and snapped right back up. She defensively twisted her core making room for Azi to be thrown straight past her shoulders.
Jungkook threw Azi out of the circle himself. He couldn't wait for the others to do it. He had to make sure it wasn't enough to take Azi's life, but the powerful throw caused Azi to take a painful landing.
"Don't waste my time" Jungkook threatened forcing the devils to take their eyes off Azi.
Azi's POV
My entire body was aching in pain, I raised my hand touching a corner of my forehead only feel the warm dripping blood from it. I felt light headed and my consciousness was still struggling to redeem itself.
I pulled my trembling form off the ground and attempted to adjust my vision to my surroundings. I narrowed my eyes but my vision couldn't adjust to their movements. They were all moving at speed of light, zooming back and forth making my head spin.
Suddenly, from the corner of my eye, I sensed a shadow creeping by the trees. Fear overwhelmed me and chills swept through my trembling body.
The moving shadow was hidden by the fog and dark shades casted by the tall trees surrounding. Whoever it was, had their bright red glowing eyes set piercing in Jungkook's direction.
Taking advantage of the chaos the shadow positioned itself, ready to pounce at any given moment. Within a flash, Azi threw his body in between Jungkook's and the charging shadow.
Jungkook turned around throwing his arms around Azi. His knees fell to the ground along with Azi's body. Holding the little devil in his arms, Jungkook completely neglected the other devils who were all waiting for the moment he lets his guard down. Taking advantage of the moment, the devils took their chance.
"Behi-- behind you~" Azi struggled to say under his breath. Jungkook didn't look back. Instead his eyes glitched at Azi's glistening tears.
Azi's eyes shot open when the other devils were about to lay hands on Jungkook. But only clouds of smoke appeared. Dust completely fogging up the forest.
They were all dead. The devils has all turned into smoke within the blink of an eye. Each and every single one of them. One strike. One move. One devil.
??? - "Jungkook you held back for a little half blood. You've formed a weakness."
???- "Kill it."
