Avianne's POV
I really thought about what Goofy said about me and Sherod. On one hand I just wanted to enjoy this year with him which could potentially be our last. On the other hand, I needed to know how he felt and what direction all of this would take me in. I knew I just had to talk to him.

"Hey baby." He said answering the phone making me blush.

"Hey babe. You alright?"

"Yeah, I'm chilling. A, Is everything ok?"

"No everything's fine I just wanted to talk to you. You mind if I come over."

"Come on. And be safe aight?"

Goofy's POV

I had been staying home more because me and my mother's relationship had finally got back to normal. She now embraced that fact that I was having a baby and probably way more excited than I was. She wanted to throw me a gender reveal party before the school year started and I was ok with it but I just wanted something small and intimate.

"Ma I don't want anything extravagant. That money can go towards the baby." I whined.

"We never half step, babe. If we're gonna do it, we're gonna do it right." She said as she continued to look online for the most expensive decorations. I rolled my eyes and laughed at how hard she was going for a gender reveal. As I sat beside her the doorbell rang.

I looked at my mama signaling for her to get the door and she rolled her eyes. I laughed at her attitude as I scrolled through the decorations on her computer. She answered the door and and I heard screaming. I looked up to see what the commotion was about and... it was my sister.

Sherod's POV

"It's no way you did that to her bro." Zero said to me after I told him what went down with me and Janelle. "You don't even like that bitch. Excuse my language but she's a bitch."

"Zero I know I fucked up man. But I don't have time for the lectures, aight? She on her way over here and I don't know if I should tell her." At this point I'm pacing the floor and I really can't think straight.

I love Avianne. I know I do. I don't know how I let Janelle kiss me. That shit just happened too fast and Zero was right. I don't like her. We had our thing but I been over it. I don't wanna risk losing Avianne.

"Hell nah you don't tell her. Nobody knows but you and that girl. Don't cause problems that don't need to be caused. And u said it was just a kiss right? Don't fuck your relationship up over her ass."

"I don't think I can do it man. I gotta tell her. I can't keep something like this from her."

Even though I disagreed with Zero, I was still considering what he said. I was gonna potentially end my relationship because of a kiss and I do not wanna go out like that.

Avianne's POV

I knocked on the door and it took a minute before he answered.

"What took you so long?" I said as I walked in.

"I'm sorry I didn't hear the door at first. Everything alright bae?" he asked.

"Yeah I just wanted to talk to you." I said as we sat down in the living room.

"Yeah I need to tell you something too." He said as we sat on the couch. He was acting a little weird like he was afraid of me or something.

"Bae are you good? You wanna go ahead and tell me?" I asked concerned.

"Yeah no I'm good. You go ahead."

"Well I know you know senior is right around the corner and I just wanted to know what you planned on doing for college. Like how this would work if we go to different colleges. And I'm only asking because that'll be a big decision for me and I'm torn."
