Eleanor had convinced herself that not every day is a good day, some days are just bad. Just like her, she couldn't always be good and kind and loving, there were some days where she just wants to be cold and reckless and it's hard to understand her. But it didn't matter which storm Ellie was facing that morning, because storms do not last forever.

"Guys."

"El, you're here." Archie smiled softly at her.

"You called her?" Jughead faced the ginger, "Why?"

"She –."

"Mrs. Andrews." Ellie smiled and sat down next to the woman, "So...?"

"My Mom was just about to tell us how it is looking."

"Well," Mary started, "unfortunatelly, between FP's list of priors the anonymous tip, and the possession of the murder weapon..."

"Don't forget that pesky confession." Jug pointed.

"Things look pretty bad." She told them, "I was with him all night, and he never once budget from his story."

Everyone looked down, it didn't matter how they much they wanted to help FP, he didn't want to be helped or saved and even they tried – which they were trying to do – it was still not enough, if the man kept pulling himself under water.

"Well, if there's nothing else," Jughead smiled to hide the pain, "at least he's an honest murderer."

"Jug..." Archie looked at him.

"Stop." Ellie shook her head, "We're not strangers, we're your best friends."

"I told you to let go."

"And I said I wouldn't." She replied, "I keep my word."

Jug didn't flinch, didn't look away from her.

"Oh, also, who is Joaquin DeSantos?" Mrs. Andrews asked while looking at the papers.

"Joaquin? As in Kevin's boyfriend?" Archie wondered.

"Wait, why are you asking?" Ellie faced the woman.

"He was FP's one phone call." Mary faced the dar-haired boy, "Jughead, my advice to you is, go and see your father. Say everything you wanna say, once he's arraigned, things tend to move pretty quickly, and there won't be anything left to do. So this might be your last chance."

"So there is nothing else we can do?"

"Unless he changes his confession," The woman shook her head, "I'm afraid not, Ellie."

It took a very strong argument for Eleanor to convince Jughead to let her go with him to the station. He wanted her to stop, to let go, and she refused every time and would continue to do so until her point was proven right.

She waited around thirty minutes for her best friend outside. Ellie was nervous just by imagining what they were talking inside, and curious. So when she noticed Jughead leave the room, she approached him.

"So?"

"You were right, you all were." Jug told, "Something is wrong. My father..."

"Is innocent." Ellie repeated the same thing again, "Now you know that."

"I don't know what's happening." He shook his head, "But I have to go see Betty."

"Yeah, I'll call Archie." She agreed, "I'll meet you guys later."

Jughead just gave her a quick nod before walking away, and she did the same. While getting out of the police station, she dialed Archie's number.

"Jug talked to his Dad."
