Before I continue on beauty and loveliness of being apart of the WLW or even human at all.. there's one thing that we all experience.. Unrequited Love. Pick a violet from the endless garden filled with them because this realization is something that is hard to swallow..

You see HER and you smile until your cheeks begin to pulsate from its intensity.. you know it's her because she makes you feel as your whole world is brighter and she makes you feel.. light. But there is a realization that we are hiding from. Her sunlight begins to burn our eyes and we feel a pang within our ribcage... she does not like you back.

Now it hits you. The denial.. the "what if she suddenly decides that she truly likes me... not that other guy or girl?" Maybe she would change her mind and see something within us and it turns her world upside down.. as she has done to us so gracefully.

I am here to tell you..and myself that we do not EVER deserve to be someone's option B. In our minds we should always be number 1 to ourselves.. never settle for anything less! Us WLW are strong, powerful and resilient when it comes to what and who we love! Our violets are only just an addition of grace and beauty! We are better than this..

What we truly need to find.. is patience. Although she might seem like our world right now.. her heart is not set on ours no matter how hard we desperately try to sway her opinion. We just have to wait.. because one day a woman will open her heart to us with the intention of loving what we are at that moment and in the future. There should be NO CONTEST when it comes to loving us.. we are better than that!

So to the girl who has her heart set elsewhere.. I hope you are happy. To us WLW who constantly struggle with Unrequited Love.. it will come to you and me. You are not alone..Ever.

I love you all so much!! I hope this was somewhat inspiring and therapeutic to you my beautiful WLW as it was for me. Heres a violet as a symbol of stability and patience for true love to find us. :)
