The Truth.. that needs to be seen..and heard

 Hello my fellow WLW!! I have not updated from May because I felt like I needed to reevaluate my perspectives about writing on the topic of WLW and our many adventures of feelings and hopes and dreams of love and equality. It is time for a refreshing perspective on WLW hopefully you beautiful girls will like!

For my readers, I would like you to join me on this small analysis of this year so far and how I have viewed some of the WLW related things I have seen in the media, within friendships, and within myself. So here is a violet for thoughts that need to be spoken upon and realizations.. as it is an important aspect of life.

Among social media, I have seen a funny saying called "20GAYTEEN", inspired from Lesbian Jesus herself, Hayley Kiyoko! At first, it was just a slogan for the album "Expectations", but suddenly it has become a movement filled with beautiful content from WLW shippers and creativity flowing at full speed within music, television shows and even myself. The amount of WLW content has TRULY been inspiring. Ranging from commercials that are filled with extreme amounts of love in Los Angeles to a couple that has two individuals of color and different religions falling in love. I have seen beautiful expressions of WLW music from Janelle Monae, Hayley Kiyoko, and Syd. The beautiful similes and kisses expressed through each type of media do not only inspire us WLW, but also the World as the thought of us loving the same gender becomes more normalized. 

It aids the world to realize that we are an aspect of Truth. As the LGBT+ community becomes a daily consideration it is now becoming a more positive apsect instead of something that is disgraced upon. It is a spectacular year in terms of getting more exposure. Hopefully, the positive aspects seen in the varieties of media aids some narrow-minded parents to change their minds. Hopefully, their minds become more open to the idea of it being okay of having LGBT+ Children.  We are the TRUTH and the 20GAYTEEN MOVEMENT will grow even stronger! It is up to us to diversify the media. So to all of the WLW and LGBT+ community.. continue to produce creative pieces of art, poems, stories, coming out stories, and be bold! The boldness will continue to be the TRUTH that we need to expand the perspectives that society has on us! Violets for all!!
