Sitting across from everyone at the table was awkward.....for me. I don't know what it was. I guess it was the idea of Harry being brought up because I really didn't want to talk about him. And to be honest, I kind of didn't want to be there. I miss my family more than anything and I hate I had to leave home in Louisiana and leave them behind. I just wasn't prepare for them to come so soon and I'll admit that it was nice being on my own for a while.
"Victoria, are you okay?" Garrett asks me from across the table, pulling me from my daydream.
"Oh uhm. I'm fine. Yeah, why?"
"You just looked like you were thinking about something. You want to talk about it?" My parents are arguing over something stupid I'm guessing while me and Garrett talk.
"Actually, yeah I do." I stop to get mom and dad's attention. "I just want to make one thing clear about Harry and me." My dad straightens up in his seat. "We are.....you know what, I don't know what we are just yet, but thats okay. I just want to let you know that I'm not gonna do anything irrational because we're not anything permanent. And I know what you're first impression of him was probably like, but I don't want you to judge him because you don't know him." Neither do you. My subconscious tells me and I glare at her.
"We understand sweetie and-"
"I'm sorry mom, but I wasn't done. Dad, you were the first to do it. The way you talked about Harry spending the night kind of hurt me. It made me feel like I was some girl who can't keep her legs closed." Saying this to my family really wasn't that hard because they taught me to always be open with them and to not be afraid to say what I feel and thats what I'm doing.
"I'm sorry Tori. I didn't mean it that way. I was just a little surprised to see you with that boy."
"'That boy' has a name, Dad" I roll my eyes at him.
"I know, I just prefer to call him that." My dad sticks his chin up in the air and crosses his arms.
"Oh, whatever" I say, hopping off my chair and onto my dad's lap and start poking at his cheeks until he finally smiles and gives me one of his famous bear hugs.

"So how'd it go." Kris asks me once I'm settled down on my bed.
"It went pretty well, better than I expected."
"So, do they like him." She says referring to Harry.
"Well, it's kind of hard to tell. I mean they only just met him a couple of hours ago and it really wasn't the best way for them to meet him." She nods her head in agreement.
"So when's the next time your gonna see him?" Just as she says this, my phone buzzes in my back pocket.
"Speak of the devil." I say as Harry's name pops up on my phone right under the words 'Incoming Call'. When did his number get put in my phone? I answer after the 3rd ring.
"Hello?"
"Hey beautiful." I smile to myself.
"Hi, what you up to?" I ask while walking out of the room and into the living room.
"Nothing really. I'm just hanging with some of my friends. And you?" I can hear some voices in the background.
"Nothing either. I just got back from lunch with my family." I note that his voice sounds even sexier over the phone.
"Oh that's nice. So umm....did they say anything, you know...about me?" I could tell he was nervous for the feedback. I smiled before speaking.
"They were just surprised to see you. They really didn't have anything to say about you considering you just met."
"Oh that's good, I guess." He says, a little uncertain. I walk around the room thinking of how to say what I want to say.
"Tori, are you there?" Harry's deep voice pulls me from my thoughts.
"Harry, what are we doing?"
"Um, we're talking..on the phone." He chuckles on the other end of the line.
"No, I mean as in me and you, being together. What are we doing?"
"You know, I really don't know. I guess we're just two people who have taken a liking for on another." He say while I hear the voices beginning to fade as if he's walking away.
"Yeah, I guess we are." I guess that answers my question, but I still want to know if this 'relationship' is going to turn into anything more. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.
"I really do like you Tori. I'm not just with you in hopes to get in your pants," Looks like he's already succeeded in that, hasn't he Tori? My subconscious is snidely smirks at me and I flip her off. "I actually want to make something of us. Would that be alright with you?" He finishes and I walk towards the window, looking out at the parking lot and all the tall buildings.
"That would be perfect." I smile, but it slowly fades as I see a figure standing in the alley, between two of the buildings, a familiar figure. A gasp leaves my mouth and I drop my phone when I see those hazel eyes from Saturday, a smirk forming on his gorgeous face. I backed away from the window quickly, almost stepping on the phone and I can hear Harry calling for me.
"Victoria! Are you there? Whats going on?!"
"Uh i'm fine, just in a bit of a daze." I lie.
"Are you sure your okay?" He doesn't believe me.
I peek out the window and into the alley, but there's no one there.
"I'm fine, Harry." I reassure him just as my phone buzzes and a text pops up on the screen from that familiar yet unknown number.
*I told you I'd see you soon baby ;)*
