Chapter 6
The ride wasn't very long. We pulled up to a very large house. There were people everywhere. You could smell the alcohol from outside and the smell was worse inside. Kris, Steven and I walked in together and I immediately lost them once we were inside. I knew this would happen.
There were alot of people dancing on what I assumed was the dance floor. I just walked around for awhile, watching in shock at how close they danced with one another. They looked as if they were molded together. This wasn't as fun as I thought it would be.
Someone offers me a solo cup filled to the top with alcohol. I turn it down, remembering that I have classes tomorrow and I should have reminded Kris of that before we got here.

Okay now I'm seriously bored. It's been at least 20 minutes and I haven't seen any sign of Kris or Steven. 3 creeps had asked me to dance so far, resulting in me speed walking away without an answer.
This time when I'm offered a drink I give in. It's just one drink and I needed it considering my situation. I gulp down the entire cup, the liquid stinging my throat on the way down. I sit the empty cup on a nearby table and muster up the courage to go out on the dance floor.
As I make my way to the middle of the floor, I can feel the alcohol starting to sink in. I start to sway my hips self-consciously, but realizing that no ones paying attention to me so I start dancing more freely. I become lost in the music feeling a few glances my way but ignoring them. But I had this uncomfortable feeling that someone was staring at me...hard.
I hadn't realized that my eyes were closed until I opened them, turning around slowly to find the source of the staring.
There, about ten feet away from me, stood a tall guy leaning against a table with a cup in his hands. He was wearing dark skinny jeans and a black v-neck, white converse adorning his feet. He had chocolate brown curls and piercing emerald green eyes that stared right into my baby blue ones.
I couldn't take my eyes off of him as he sat down his cup and took long strides towards me. He looked like an angel. When he was standing no more than arms length away I realized he was taller than I thought. He had several tattoos. I could see 2 lovebirds placed right below his collar bones.
He then held out his hand to me. I hesitated before finally taking it. His hands were much larger than mine, making me feel like a child. He slowly turned me around so that my back was now pressed to his lean, muscular chest. We swayed from side to side with the music, placing his hands on my hips, encouraging me to dance.
I just stood there and let him guide me. I didn't know how to react. That's when he spoke up.
"Oh don't act so shy now. I saw you dancing. Don't stop on my behalf." My mouth opening slightly in shock as he spoke. I didn't expect his voice to be so deep and raspy, so seductive. I then decided to give him what he wanted, slowly starting to sway my hips against him.
"What's your name baby girl." His words making my stomach flutter.
"V-Victoria." This making him chuckle. I could feel his chest shake as he did so. I mentally cursed myself for being so nervous.
"Beautiful name for a beautiful woman." I was a bit flattered that he called me a woman, part of me expecting him to say girl instead.
Before I could ask for his name, I was being pulled off the dance floor, his hands sliding from their position on my waist. I looked back at where I left him. He looks at me as I walk away with a smirk on his face. Before I turn away, he sends me a wink. I then directed my attention to the person pulling me out of the house.
As we step through the doors, I realize its Kris. "C'mon T, we have to go. Its almost 1:00 in the morning." She says while pulling me towards Steven's car.
The car ride was silent, Kris had fallen asleep, me lost in my thoughts. Who was that guy? He was so mysterious and so....breathtaking. I'd never met anyone like him before. As if reading my thoughts, Steven speaks up.
"Tori?"
"Yeah?"
"I saw you dancing with Harry." So that's his name. Hmm...its kinda....sexy.
"You did?"
"Yeah. I just wanted to warn you. He's not good company to keep." What? How would he know? I was starting to get a bit defensive but I couldn't understand why.
"Why do you say that?"
"Well he's known as the player around here and him and his group of friends are the kind of people that everyone tries to steer clear of."
"Why?"
"People are afraid of them. I don't know if it's because of their appearance or something worse."
His words are starting to make me nervous. Maybe he's right. I barely know this Harry guy. But I told myself to not make a big deal out of this. I probably won't even see him again after tonight, but a small part of me was hoping I would.
We pull into a parking spot while Steven goes over to the passenger side to get Kristen out. I was going to wake her up but he stopped me.
"No, don't wake her. I'll carry her to your room." I smile at how sweet he is.
As we walk into the room, Steven lays Kris down on her bed taking her heels off and placing a kiss on her forehead. He gives me a hug and says goodbye before walking out, but I stop him.
"Steven."
"Yeah?"
"Your a good guy."
He smiles and looks down at the ground. "Thanks." Then he walks out the door and down the hall.
I decide to get Kris out of her dress and into her pajamas which wasn't done without difficulty. Once it's done, I go into the bathroom to take a shower and wash my hair. When I get out, I brush my teeth and wash the little bit of makeup off my face. I walk out of the bathroom, put on my pajamas and crawl into bed. When I look at my alarm clock, its 2 am. I drift off to sleep thinking about Harry.
