27. Prom part 2

Evie's POV:
Tonight was prom,Audrey,Lonnie,Mal, and I were in Audrey's dorm. We were all ready.
"Evie just forgive him. I mean he looked pretty glum today." Lonnie said.
"Then I'm letting him win." I replied.
"It's not about winning or losing. It's true love." Mal stated.
I looked at my wedding ring and sighed.
"Ladies." Chad said.
"Chad." Mal and Lonnie said plainly.
"Where's Carlos?" I asked quickly.
"He said he's not coming." Jay said.
I screamed out in frustration and Mal put a hand on my shoulder as I put my head in my hands.
"I screwed up but I don't know if I am ready to forgive him." I said.
"Well think about it. Now let's go to prom!" Mal said.
At Prom
"It's good day!" Audrey said as she walked in.
Mal,Audrey,& I:
We're gonna have a good day
And all my homies gonna ride today
And all these mommies look fly today
"Stop." Ben said.
"Ugh fine we'll just dance." I said.
Audrey,Mal,and I started to dance and Jay,Ben,Chad,and Lonnie rolled there eyes.
"What? Good day is amazing." Audrey stated.
"Mhmm." Mal sassed.
I giggled at their childish behavior. Then the music stopped. I heard Carlos's angelic voice and I turned around.
"Um excuse me. I'd like to sing something to someone who is very special to me." Carlos said.
I looked down,not knowing how to react. Everyone knew about the argument we had. Thanks a lot Mal. So they knew this was about me.
"I'm sorry Evie I didn't mean to hurt you." Carlos said.
I blushed in embarrassment And looked down as Mal nudged me.
I met you in the dark

And then you smiled over your shoulder
For a minute I was stone cold sober

I smiled a bit but looked down. I still am not sure if I should forgive him.

I pulled him closer to me and I smashed my lips onto his.

I pulled away and smiled at Carlos who was blushing.
