31. The VK's childhood:Mal

After Evie persuaded Carlos to come back Mal's memory appeared.
"MAL!!" Maleficent screamed.
This looked like it was a year before she came to Auradon her hair just was a little longer.
"Yes mother?" Mal asked.
"Why didn't you get any apples?" Maleficent.
"What is with the Isle and apples?" Lonnie asked.
Mal shrugged and the other VK's laughed.
"Because the guy who sells him doesn't have anymore." Mal said sassily.
Mal regretted the tone because of Maleficent's evil glare.
"Sorry-." Mal started.
Maleficent slapped Mal. Mal fell and Maleficent continuously kicked her.
"Who do you think you are?!" Maleficent screamed.
"Your daughter being disrespectful is key to being evil." Mal said.
Maleficent had enough and her eyes glowed green. Maleficent almost threw a knife at her but she stopped and went to eat. Mal could barely breath. She was coughing up blood and the scene was not pretty.
"Such a disgrace." Maleficent mumbled.
"I'm not a disgrace." Mal whispered before she fell unconscious.
The memory faded and Ben looked at Mal who was already looking at him.
Brown met green in the awkward staring contest. Ben captured Mal in a bone-crushing hug and Mal started to cry.
"It's okay." Ben said.
"It's okay." He repeated.
