Lila's hands shook as she turned her car into Cal's driveway. She guessed that Cal had forgotten about his profile picture, because she had inspected that small picture for minutes, and suffice to say, he was the finest specimen that she had set her eyes upon.

Her stomach did flips as she quickly took in his dark floppy hair and his oval face, his soft looking clear skin, and the glasses perched on his nose.

Those people on his Instagram had no idea what the hell they were talking about.

She took the keys out of the ignition after turning the car off, immediately regretting her choice in clothing. She hadn't changed before running to the car, she had only slipped her fuzzy sock clad feet into a pair of flip flops before leaving.

She wore her long blue pajama bottoms that had cute little bunnies on them along with a white tee shirt she had stolen from her cousin a while back. Her black hair was thrown up into a messy bun, and she was sure that she had strands of hair sticking up at odd angles.

She huffed, having no other option than to advance towards his front door. It was five after eight, and there were two cars in the driveway, a sign that Cal wasn't the only one home.

Lila sure did hope that she got the address right.

She rushed up to the front door, wrapping her arms around herself once she rang the doorbell to block the cold.

A short woman with worried bags under her eyes answered the door, wrapped in a robe and pajama pants.

"Can I help you?" She asked.

"Yes, uh, I'm here for Cal. He asked me to come over." She lied. In reality, she had almost forced his address out of him, only because she felt terrible not being able to do anything over the phone.

"You're Lila?" The woman asked, a small knowing smile growing on her face.

    "Uh, yes ma'am?"

"Come in, come in. And call me Katherine. Cal is up in his room, upstairs third door on the left."

Lila nodded, shutting the door after herself. "Thank you. Is he...is he alright?" She questioned.

Katherine's face dropped. "Those idiot kids are still at it. I knew we should've moved, but Cal insisted that we stayed. He won't leave his room or eat. I hope that you can help him."

"I'll try. Thank you, Katherine." Lila said, taking the first step before she remembered something.

She rushed back to her car, opening the trunk and grabbing the large cardboard box that she had intended on giving to Cal when she got his address, she ran back inside and up to Cal's room.
