A new beginning at Kadic Academy as the new semester starts. A car pulls up in front and coming out the passenger side is Hiroki Ishiyama. His father gets off, too as they reach the front entrance. Hiroki's father hugs him unexpectedly while Hiroki was taking a moment looking at the view. "Ugh! Stop it! You're embarrassing me." Hiroki said shrugging away. "C'mon, son. It's your first day of school. You need to lighten up a bit. Your mother and I put in a lot of effort to get you a dorm at the academy. You're going to have fun like - "
"- like Yumi?"
His father stopped as Hiroki responded back at him to end his sentence.
Hiroki's father just looked at him with a blank face. The two stared eye to eye for a moment. He wasn't even mad when the name "Yumi" was mentioned. He then goes down on a knee and puts his son's hand over his shoulder. His father then says, "I miss her too, Hiroki. But think about your sister. Do you think she would want to see us bickering like this?" Hiroki responded back, " You know nothing about Yumi!" He exclaimed.
"Huh? What's that supposed to mean? Your mother and I raised you both and... "
As his father went on lecturing him, he felt a smooth chill around his neck. It felt as though a hand swayed around him as if somebody was behind him. Forgetting their conversation, he turned around quickly and saw nothing. Just the wind and I leaves flying by.
"HIROKI! Are you even listening to me?" His father exclaimed.
Hiroki went to the trunk and got his luggage and closed the trunk. Remembering back about their little topic, Hiroki was going to say something, but instead walked away and entered the school gates. For only he knows what Yumi would've done. She would've walked away and mind her own business when it comes to family.
He turns around to see his father one last time when he heard his father say, "Your sister loved you son. Just as your mother and I will always love you. Never forget that, okay?"
And he turns around and walks away giving him the cold shoulder.

Sitting down on the bench, Hiroki remembers the time when he used to see Yumi around and he would make fun of her about how madly she was in love with Ulrich Stern. Another person Hiroki considered as a friend as his buddy, Johnny, comes to the bench. Johnny comes sliding in screaming out, "Hiroki!" Sliding too quickly, though, the two crash onto each other, off the bench, and onto the ground. The two bump in against each other, both saying, Ouch! Oh, my leg! My Head! Hiroki gets up to see his luggage open and several clothes out on the open.
"Oh, no. Look what you did, Johnny! My clothes are all dirty."
Johnny, dusting his best friend off, "Oh. I'm sorry. It's probably not even that dirty. See, it's just mud."
"Give me that," Hiroki quickly snatches his buttoned dressy shirt from Johnny. "Let me see." He takes a sniff off from his shirt, "Eww! That's nasty mud. It smells like your mom's meat loaf, Johnny." Hiroki takes a closer look at it and realized it was not mud, after all. "Oooooh, Nooo! It's worse than your mom's meat loaf! Ten times worse!"
As Hiroki tries figuring out a way to get rid of the dirty stain, Johnny sees two girls walking towards them. One of them, Johnny recognized.
"Hey look. It's your girlfriend!" He said smiling.
"Huh?" Hiroki puzzled. Then he sees her. Milly Solovieff. And her best friend, Tamiya Diop, coming from the coffee machine just up ahead. The two of them noticed Hiroki and Johnny as they made their approach towards them.
"Hey guys." They said. Hiroki got nervous. With his buttoned shirt all dirty and smelly on his hands, he quickly no look passed it to Johnny, landing it straight to his face dropping him dead with the stench, as he went up to Milly.
"Hey, uh, Milly," blushing red. "And Tamiya. What's going on with the Kadic Newspaper today? Ha."

"Umm," Milly responds confused, "we haven't started yet. The day's just started, remember? Other than the fact that Sissy and her goons aren't here anymore. They're off to 'greater heights and away from our sights.'" said poetically.
"So we get to sleep better at night without her around." Tamiya added. Both girls nodding happily.
Meanwhile, Johnny cries out for his friend's help, but Hiroki's love for Milly talking to him distracts him.
Hiroki laughs, "Hey, That rhymes, Milly. You should write that for the headlines! I'm sure they'll love it. I'm sure the school would like to hear that for once. Haha!"
Johnny cries out, "Hiroki! Your shirt! Meat Loaf! Ahhh!"
While ignoring Johnny, Milly smiles and says, "Boy. Look at you. Haven't seen that smile in a while. Maybe I should write that one for the newspaper. Ha." She smiles, can't stop looking at him. Hiroki blushing red, "Oh. Hehe. Yeah. Right. Thanks. Well, we gotta go. Johnny and I have to look for our classes for today. Gotta hurry there before you know who says - "
Before he continued, an old familiar serious voice interrupts, "Says what, Ishiyama?"
It was Jim Morales, their fitness teacher.
Johnny finally catches some breath air taking off the shirt from his face to see him, too.
"Oh, hey Jim! We were just talking about Sissy being on the front newspaper."
"Shh! Quiet Johnny." Hiroki quickly elbows him on his arm.
Jim lifting his right eyebrow in curiosity, "Oh, really?" says slowly, slowly turning his attention to the girls who both gulped. "What's this about I wonder. Ha. Well, Solovieff. What's the scoop about, huh? How about you, Diop?
Both gulped again looking for something to make up. "Ugh! Mmm. Well. It's. Ugh - "
" - It's called, 'Greater Heights and Away from Our Sights!' Pretty catchy, huh, Jim?"
Hiroki, Milly, and Tamiya tell at him all at once, "Johnny!"
Jim chuckles a bit. "Well, isn't that a good scoop," he said sarcastically. "I'm sure the principal wouldn't mind hearing about this? Considering the fact that it's his DAUGHTER YOU'RE REFERRING TO!" He screams at them out loud in the end. "Let's go, ladies."
Milly and Tamiya with their heads down walk. Milly scuffs upset at Johnny. Tamiya bumps into him, "Thanks a lot."
"Let's go!" Jim commands pointing with his big, fat index finger down the hall as he escorts them away.
"Wait a go, buddy." Hiroki says, patting him on the back.
Johnny confused as to what just happened.
"Was it something I said?"
Hiroki then changes the topic, "Let's go check out the dorms." Still not forgetting about earlier, he squeezes his nose with his hand tightly, smiling, "and ugh, Johnny, you might wanna wipe that "dirt" off your face." Johnny finally realized it and says, "umm, I don't think it's dirt, anymore."
"Yeah, you're right. It's probably your mom's meat loaf." As he laughs out loud.
