Homecoming

Everyone at school got out and went out ready and excited. Teenagers being teenagers. Kids acting like kids. Boys being boys. Girls being girls. This week, however, was a special week. It was homecoming! The homecoming dance was near and everyone was going.
Passing by and seeing the whole commotion approaches Hiroki and his friend, Johnny.
"Hey, Johnny." Hiroki elbowing him as they sit down on the bench.
"Yeah?" Johnny nods his head up looking at his pal, his best friend.
"What's going on?"
"Ugh, you didn't know?"
"Know what?"
"It's homecoming night!" Milly says out loud surprising Hiroki with a hug. Hiroki's nerves went up, his heart beating so fast. He shrugs off Milly from his neck. Alongside her, came Tamiya.
"So, Hiroki," closing in on him with a pen and paper ready.
"You know it's homecoming tomorrow night, right?"
"Ugh, yeah. Ugh, Homecoming, Ugh, right, now - now I do." Hiroki was nervous. He didn't even know what to say. Milly wrote everything word for word,  even though what he said sounded confusing. She still managed to interpret everything hand written in her notepad.
"So tell us, who will you be taking to the dance? Have you asked anyone yet? Is it a secret admirer? Someone you know here that's on campus? Go on, don't be afraid." Milly waited for a response and Hiroki couldn't take the pressure. His face so red, he couldn't hold it much longer.
"Oh oh, I can tell you." Johnny ridiculously waving his hand for the Kadic News attention.
"So tell us, Johnny!" Milly rushes straight to his side for answers.
"You see the girl he can't wait to ask is standing right - " Hiroki grabs him around the neck to not say who, when, or where. Covering his mouth still hesitating, "- Ugh, over there! In fact here she comes!" Pointing ahead behind Tamiya at 3 o'clock came Laura and Sam.
"Hey, you guys!" Tamiya welcoming them with joy, giving Sam a high five.
"Hello, Tamiya. Hi, Milly." Laura says to the girls. In shock, Milly runs towards Laura and Sam and ask, "So ladies, which one of you is it?" The two stared at each other in confusion.
"Umm, what's going on? Sam slowly backing away from Laura and to Tamiya, "What's going on?"
"We're here to see who's asking who to the dance tomorrow night. Milly and I came across Hiroki and Johnny and decided to ask them who they're going to take, except Johnny of course. We already know who. Well, I do." Tamiya tells her. She whispers in Sam's ear who. The two giggled. Johnny sees them, "Hey, what are you guys talking about?" He looks at Tamiya and sees that look in her face. The face of laughter as she holds her breath.
"Tamiya! You didn't write about who I am taking, right?"
"More like who you'll try taking." Sam tells Johnny. Tilting her head and moving her eyes slightly to the left, Johnny focuses where and sees a blonde girl with blue eyes walking down the hall alone.
"Tamiya!" Johnny whinging. "You didn't tell Milly I was gonna ask out you know who, did you?"
"Who's you know who?" Sam looks at Johnny. Johnny turns around crossing his arms.
"I'm - I'm not gonna say." He hesitates.
"You mean that girl with the blonde hair and the lovely blue eyes?" Sam says with a sense of humor. Milly heard who and went rushing towards Laura, now.
Laura heard the details, but never saw as to whom they were referring to.
"So, Laura! How does it feel to be going to the dance tomorrow night with this handsome fella!" Milly pointing to Johnny. Johnny comes, "No, no, wait, Milly - "
" - I ugh, I don't - " Laura speechless, blushing, and Johnny embarrassed seeing as Laura was far more attractive than that other girl he's been wanting to talk to since yesterday.
"Oh, say no more. I understand. It's okay to be nervous. Laura, there's no need to be ashamed." Talking down Johnny. Johnny couldn't say anything. He goes down on a knee and was about to ask Laura until Sam and Hiroki pick him up.
"Okay, okay, that's enough for today. You got your scoop, Milly. Now, we have to go. Johnny forgot to pick up his ring - I mean clothes - back in his room. We gotta get going. See ya!" Hiroki and his buddy fled the scene. Milly see them run off. But it didn't matter, she had her scoop.
"Laura, Johnny, ring." She yells out loud in excitement. "This is just too exciting. I'll be back for pictures of you two lovebirds. See you tomorrow night! C'mon Tamiya. We have ourselves a big scoop!'~ See you later, ladies." And the paparazzi flee the scene in search for their next victim.
Sam and Laura were jaw dropped for they couldn't believe what had just happened. Especially, Laura.
