The Arena

William and Patrick make it as the two landed feet first onto the ground.
"I'm impressed." Says William.
"What?"
"Normally the newbies land on their butts." The two laughed.
Patrick rose up and looked around the light blue walls. Then he saw himself wearing grey half cut gloves with what appeared to be a long, black robe shirt with a white lining on the ends including his sleeves top and bottom.
"So this is what it feels like!" Patrick holding his fists tight. "So what can you do?" Patrick stares at William with a challenge.
"Oh you'll see." William pats him on the back as he steps forward away from Patrick.
The doors in front of them immediately open one by one making a path for them to follow. The two rush in without a second to lose. But William began to tremble. He remembered the first time he was here with Aelita on Sector 5. The flashbacks came back to him on how he betrayed his comrades because of his ego causing him to be caught by the Scyphozoa. This is Patrick's first time as well. All William can think about was hopefully that "it" wasn't here.
"Are you alright?" Patrick asked him.
William snaps out of it. "Yeah. Just stick close to me. You got it?"
Patrick nods his head. But looks back at him with concern. Is he alright? Patrick thought to himself.

"Watch out you guys! You have company." Laura alerts them.

William points up ahead. He wasn't feeling ready to fight. He ran ahead. But Patrick stayed behind ready to fight.
"Hey! What are you doing?"
"We have to make sure these things aren't in the way."
"We don't have time for them. They'll just hold us back."
"I just need to warm up. That's all." Patrick smirks. "I see you." Patrick runs up and jumps over a wall where he found his first target. It was a Creeper. The monster fired a couple shots at him but missed them all. Patrick's reflexes were too fast. Patrick made a stance ready for combat. William rushes to aid him but shots came from behind and gets hit by one of them.
"William, take cover!" Laura tells him.
William grabs his long blade. "Super Smoke!" He says, and flies up to the top on what appeared to be a bridge. He was safe for now. But forgot about Patrick.
"Hey, William. How do you stop these things?" Patrick kept hitting the Creeper but just couldn't stay down. But William didn't say anything. He was lost in his phobia of being in Sector 5.

"William! Are you alright?" Laura tries reaching out to him. The Creepers started to crawl up the walls. William was doing nothing. He was frozen in fear.

"Patrick. William's not responding."
"I know." Patrick responds.

"Alright then. Plan B." Patrick gets the Creeper and swings a roundhouse kick so strong, the Creeper flew all the way up to the bridge hitting its head below the pathway and exploded.
"Damn. Didn't expect that to happen."

"Patrick listen. The only way to destroy them is by hitting the eye Thats on their head. Do you see it?"

Patrick, without hesitation, ran up to the wall somehow sticking to it. Three of the Creepers started shooting at him but missed every shot. Patrick was able to see them before hitting him. Patrick ducked and weaved until he reached one of them. The Creeper in front of him fired at him. But Patrick quickly reacted by grabbing one of the Creepers that were closest to him. He grabbed one of them around the neck and used it as a shield to protect him. The Creeper accidentally shoots down one of its own and falls down. Patrick runs up before the explosion can get to him and goes for the next one. He dodges the blasts again and grabs the other one by its long and thin arms. He twists it to its back and kicks it towards the Creeper that was firing at him before. Hitting its own, the explosion knocked it off balance. But just before it fell below, Patrick threw his hand straight to him
"Shuto!" He yelled out. He threw a straight hand piercing the eye of the Creeper and punched it out with his opposite hand before it can explode on him.
Patrick reached the top with two more left about to fire at William.
"William! Watch out!" He screamed at him to the top of his lungs.
William immediately snapped out of it with his last thought about the Scyphozoa. Without looking he summons his sword with a battle cry and throws a wide blade attack so long it almost hits Patrick. Patrick, however, dropped back bending his legs down to drop his body and dodges the attack. Patrick gets back up, relieved, from nearly getting sliced in half.
"You almost sliced me in half!" Patrick yelled at him. William walked around him giving him a pat on the back again. "Told ya."
