Homecoming Night

Everyone was having fun inside the gymnasium, ironically. When Jim is hosting class during school hours, people get bored and tired of him and his exercises. Tonight though, this one night, was the opposite. Because Jim wasn't bored and tiring, except when he was dancing. Until he pulled a cramp on his lower calf. People laughed and went on.
On the other side, Johnny was dancing. He was pulling Sam towards him to dance together. Giving her that look, Sam just crossed her arms and leaned back rocking her head to the beat of the music. Alongside them was Laura and Tamiya. Laura didn't want to dance because she couldn't dance. Tamiya looks stops dancing and looks around.
"Hey, where is Milly and Hiroki?" She asked.
Laura points 2 o'clock, "There they are!"
"Hey, hey! Look who finally showed up."
Coming between the dancing crowd came Milly and Hiroki. Milly happy and excited, while Hiroki was exhausted trying to catch his breath from all that running. Johnny gave up on Sam and so he asked Laura. Laura said to him she can't dance. But Johnny didn't care. A minute later, the music changed. And the tempo slowed down a bit. Laura remembers this song and smiled. Not at Johnny, but the simple fact that she was having a good time with her new friends. Then, she looked at Johnny and the two danced off.
"No way!" Tamiya laughed.
"Yeah, Johnny!" "You get it, tiger!" Hiroki and Sam yelled out loud.
"This isn't my type of music. I'm gonna head out and call it a night." Sam stretches and yawns.
"Where are you going?" Tamiya asked
"Oh you know, back to the dorm." Hiroki looked at her. He knew she was lying. Tamiya asked to come with her, but Sam was a solo kinda gal. But because it was Tamiya, she didn't mind. The two took off together and it was just Milly and Hiroki.
Milly loved this song. Hiroki looks at her and then back at Johnny. Johnny gives him the look. He looks at him, tilting his head down a bit and lifts his eyebrow. Hiroki thought it meant one of two things. A sign to pretty much go for it. Or, the "I see you" look, which also means to go for it. It was both, apparently.
He calls Milly by her name out loud and asks her if they could dance together. At first Milly laughed, thinking he was joking. Then, Hiroki was beginning to get nervous again. She takes notice and says to him, "Really?" Hiroki nods his head smiling. Slowly, Hiroki pulls out his hand and Milly grabbed it quickly and the two run to the center.
This is it, he thought to himself. The two moved side to side, rocking with the music like a lull a by. Hiroki gives her a spin and grabs her gently around the waist. Johnny does the same but Laura leaves him hanging halfway from the spin and takes off.
"Laura, wait!" He chases after her. Before he did, he took another look at his best friend. Making eye contact with each other for a quick second, Johnny winks at him and gives him a thumbs up. Then, he goes out in search for Laura.
"So is this your first dance?" Milly asked.
"Yup." He says with confidence.
"You know, I never took you for a slow dancer."
"Oh yeah? Well then you don't know me at all." Hiroki says to her and the two giggle.
"You know, it would be nice for an interview."
"One on one with you?"
Milly responded back to him with a nod.
"I don't mind. Don't mind at all, if its with you." Hiroki stopped and got nervous again.
"With me?" She asked as she slowly turned red.
Hiroki gulped like he just took in those words. They hold onto each tightly, bit by bit. Slowly, he and Milly close their eyes as their faces got closer and closer to each other. Suddenly the music stopped and the lights turned on.
"All right, party's over." Jim says, holding onto his calf.
Everyone was in awe mist of them complaining.
"You have one minute, or it's detention with me for one hour. You got that? Let's go."
Still upset, everyone left quickly.
At that moment, Milly and Hiroki broke off too because of the crowd breaking them apart. They bumped them off from each other.
"I'll see you tomorrow, then!" Hiroki waves out loud as the crowd moves. Like a river current, Hiroki went with the flow heading towards the exit. He can see that Milly went out the other route. Everyone left that night, leaving the gymnasium empty.
"Hey who's going to clean up this mess?" Jim says, looking at the mess on the ground. "Oh boy.."
