Chapter 13: Long Lost Sister

Mallory and Shawn talked the next morning. Shawn realized that he thought that being overly protective and believing someone was cute equaled love.

They hugged and she said, "I am so glad you are my best friend!" He replied, "So am I Mallory. Gregory isn't a bad guy but he better treat you right!"

She was smiling while waving goodbye to their parents. They were shocked to see Gregory there.

Gregory said, "I've come to pick you both up." The car looked bigger than before since Gregory used a spell on it to make more room for up to 3 or 4 people. He opened the door for Mallory and said, "After you, Angel."

Shawn and Gregory nodded to each other indicating all was well between them. When they arrived at school, Shawn was surprised to see a beautiful girl looking at her schedule in the parking lot. Gregory used his magic to find out if she was his long lost sister. His mother's note that she left him mentioned that she had to give up his sister for adoption. Regina was a witch, however, she was powerless when she was kidnapped by her husband, Baxter.  He used his dark magic to keep Regina in a secluded location after she protected her daughter, Erica, from his evil ways. Gregory smiled when the magic conveyed that Erica was his sister and, after all this time, they would be reunited.

Erica noticed that her powers were telling her something. She finally spotted two guys and a girl heading towards her. Erica started to tear up as she saw Gregory.  She said,"Brother?" She knew about being adopted by the note left by her mother, Regina. Her mother wanted her to try and find her brother, Gregory, when Erica received her witch powers. She also noted for her to be wary of her father, Baxter. Gregory nodded and embraced his sister Erica for awhile.

Erica Lancaster was 16 years old. She was a year younger than Gregory and had blonde hair with blue eyes. She looked just like her mother, Regina. She glanced at Shawn and immediately blushed. She felt connected to him on a another level, which felt overwhelming. Shawn whispered in her ear, "It looks like I found the girl that really has stolen my heart." He walked her to all of her classes while Gregory and Mallory grinned at them.

Shawn asked Erica out on a date during lunch while Gregory said jokingly, "You are lucky I approve of you for my sister, Shawn." Erica lightly punched her brother, Gregory, in the arm. Mallory distracted Gregory by kissing him on the lips. Gregory promised Mallory to take her out on a proper date after dealing with his father, Baxter. He was determined to find his mother, Regina, and make sure Baxter was stopped.

After school, he took Mallory to the lake by their houses. He asked her to be his girlfriend and gave her a moon and star pendant necklace that glowed in the dark. It had some of his special magic that would protect her from the bad magic. Shawn and Erica had a movie date. When the kids were out, Lia and Jackson had time for kisses and romance. Jackson danced with Lia out on the patio in the backyard. The music that played was the song by 3 doors down: "Your Arms Feel Like Home'. They danced to that song before he asked her to be his girlfriend.  This happened after Lia gave him a tour of Austin.

Jackson said, "Lia, my darling, now we have our alone time together. I love you and every day I spend with you is a treasure." Lia kissed him and replied, "Jackson, I love you too. Yes, this is our night to dance and kiss under the stars."

Bridget and Theo were having a date at their house so Jackson and Lia could have the house to themselves. They had endless kisses, cuddling, and had a pillow fight until it was time to go back to Jackson and Lia's house. Shawn talked about his date with Erica while Mallory showed off her necklace to her parents. Jackson didn't have any problems with Gregory since Theo reassured him that his intentions with his daughter were good. Theo and Jackson advised everyone that they will train tomorrow so they can be ready to face Baxter.

Gregory went to Erica's house and had a spell to protect Erica and her adoptive parents from Baxter. He teleported to Mallory's room after he was done. Mallory gasped when he appeared in her room since she wasn't expecting him.

Gregory said, "Surprise my angel." They watched Netflix until she fell asleep. He kissed her lips and whispered, "I love you. Baxter won't touch a hair on your head, angel." He used a spell to protect Mallory and Shawn's family. Theo found Gregory when he used his teleportation spell to go outside.

Theo said, "Gregory, you can stay with us and your sister is welcome here as well. I talked to Jackson and Lia about it and they said that you were welcome here since you are practically family." Gregory told him, "Thank you,  Mr. Callahan." He used his magic to go back to Mallory. Gregory got in bed with her and she smiled knowing he was there. They snuggled close as he breathed in her smell of roses and chamomile. Baxter knew that Gregory had turned towards the light and was planning a way to go after everyone he cared about and he wouldn't stop until his son was dead.
