*Laney's POV*
Today is the day! I get to see Shawn Mendes live! I've been waiting forEVER to see him. Shawn gives me life. I had to fly all the way to Texas because Shawn wasn't coming near me which I was really sad about, but I do get a vacation out of this as well!
As I am getting ready for the concert, I take out my high waisted black skinny jeans and a white tank that says "Music is life", with a pair of Adidas Superstars. I put half my hair up into a bun and lightly curled the other half. Last but not least I swiped on my makeup and went for a natural look.
"Laney! It's time to go! You wanna get there early right?" My mom shouts from the hotel bathroom.
"Okay!"
I grab my purse and head out to the lobby. I quickly text my friends because I'm a nervous wreck. My friends quickly remind me that it'll be okay and that I'll have the time of my life.
I've been a fan of Shawn Mendes for about a year and a half now. The first song I heard of his was Stitches. I knew right then that I was gonna become a fan of him. This is my first time going to a Shawn Mendes concert and I couldn't be more excited. The best part is, I have some of the best seats in the house!
"Are you ready to go?" My mom asks.
"Could I sit down for a little bit. I need to bring myself back together. I'm really nervous and I don't want this to come in the car with us," I say as calmly as I can.
I sit down and look through my snapchat. I see Shawn posted something! It's a cute video!
"Hello Dallas! I'm really excited for you guys to come out here tonight! It's going to be a great night! Can't wait to see you all! Love you guys!" The video ends. I get all anxious because I get to see that face in real life. I could not be anymore happy! I've been waiting for this day and it's finally here!
"Okay Laney! We have to go now!" My mom says sternly.
My mom and I walk out to the car. As soon as the radio turns on I hear that There's Nothing Holding Me Back is playing, I jump with joy and start jamming out.
