Laney's POV
I wake up to my phone buzzing with no mercy. I roll over and unplug my phone, so I can see who needed me so badly at this hour. When I look at my screen I see Nessa spammed me with texts. It looks like she's free and she wants to hang out today, thankfully I have an open schedule as well.
I ask Mom if I can hang out with Nessa all day. I told her about Nessa a little bit last night but I was too tired to explain everything.
"Who is Nessa again?" Mom asks.
"She's the girl that sat in the seat next to me at the concert last night. We got to know each other really well. She was blowing up my phone this morning. She wants to hang out. I want to hang out with her before we leave." I explain.
"Are you guys gonna meet up somewhere?" Mom asks.
"Yeah. We're gonna get Starbucks. I would've told her to meet me here but she doesn't know that I don't live in Texas," I inform her.
"When do you plan on telling her?" Mom questions me.
"I don't know. Maybe the day we leave. I don't want her to be sad every time she sees me."
Mom sighs loudly before giving me an answer. She says yes and I get ready to go. Of course I answer all the texts Nessa sent before I leave. I order an Uber so I can actually get somewhere.
As I'm waiting for my Uber I text Nessa and tell her I'll be there shortly. She says okay. I decide to touch my face up a little bit. I put foundation, concealer, eyeliner, mascara, and a little bit of lipstick on. That's pretty natural for me.
"Bye mom! I love you! See you later! Make sure to text me if you do anything exciting today!" I exclaim as I hustle through the door.
"Text me when you get to Starbucks! Love you!" Mom replies.
Me and my mom have to take care of each other because it's just us two. My dad divorced my mom when I was younger.

When I get to Starbucks I look around for Nessa right away. I see her and walk up behind her.

      "Hey!" I giggle.

      "What's up!" Nessa exclaims.

We get in line to order. I don't know what I'm going to get, because it's not cold so I can't get my usual order.

"What do you want?" I ask.

"Can I get a milkshake please?" Nessa answers.

I walk up to the counter and order everything. We decide to share a sandwich and get a couple cake pops. We find a table to sit down at. We catch up on everything we missed over the past 12 hours.

"What should we do first today?" I ask.

"It doesn't matter to me!" Nessa exclaims.
We decide to walk around town and go into little shops. I get a few new outfits, and some random stuff. Nessa and I find a little boutique.
"We should go in," I say.
Nessa agrees and we walk in. I brought a TON of money to spend while I'm here. We decided to get matching outfits to wear when we hang out again.
"You should ask your mom if you can spend the night," Nessa suggests.
I freeze a little, would my mom bring me my clothes? Would I reveal my secret? I'm sure it'll be fine.
      "Okay!" I agree.
I pull out my phone and call my mom. I ask her if I can stay with Nessa tonight. She agrees and then we hang up.
"She says I can spend the night!" I smile.
Nessa and I continue on with our day. As the day goes on I worry less and less about taking Nessa with me to the hotel.
"We're gonna go to my place and get some clothes for me and then we're gonna go to your house," I inform Nessa.
     "Okay!" Nessa allows.
We get an Uber to the hotel. We talk the whole car ride, even though it only took about 10 minutes.
