Sans took a deep breath as he finally said the monster's name out loud. It felt strange, no one could remember him, but Sans did for some reason. He remembered everyone's origin, but he was the only one. He knew no one would believe him if he told them, so he kept it a secret. He kept it in for so long it felt surreal to pronounce his name to someone who wasn't even one of them. Someone he just met six months ago, someone who he cared more deeply than anything else. Someone who was innocent in it all.

Sans snapped out of thought as Jayde questioned, "How do you know that name?" He noticed the tears and crust in her eyes. Should he tell her? Would she believe him? Well I have to now, whether she does or not.

Sighing more deeply that the breath he took, he made his decision. "Long ago, two races roamed the earth. Monsters and humans." He paused to analyze her face again, ready for the unfaithful question. However, no hint of disbelief was in her eyes. Rather curiosity, as if she was finally getting the answers. "The humans were afraid of the monsters. So war was claimed, and the cost of losing was banishment for the monsters. They lived underground for many centuries, losing hope they would ever reach the surface again."

"That's so sad." She simply claimed. Sans knew despite her nor showing it, she was very compassionate. She felt things deeply, but pretends she feels nothing. Heh we are too similar for our liking. He would never admit however.

"There was a mad scientist, he wanted so badly to free his monster kind. He was the most intelligent monster, so intelligent he found a way. He had sacrificed his form to the void, a place where he would be forgotten. His soul and the act of true perseverance, determination, patience, kindness, justice, and integrity; he converted his magic to mask the monsters. They now held enough magic to break the barrier and become somewhat human." Sans gruffed out the last part, ignoring the beautiful girl. He hated that part. It filled him with resent and hate for the scientist, even if it shouldn't.

"The scientist- he's Gaster isn't he?", Jayde cautiously questioned. "Why do you look so upset, was he someone to you?"

Why is she so damn smart and why can she see right through me?

"I mean-" Sans couldn't pretend with her. He couldn't put on a face like he could with everyone else. "Yeah, he was someone", he finally confessed. "He was my creator."

"Creator?", confusion dripped in the silky voice of the woman.

"Er Father? Sorry I get mixed up sometimes because of the timelines and universes."

"Me too. Sometimes now I dream of them. In some, I'm someone else. Others I don't exist....", Jayde trailed off in thought. "Like I never mattered".

"You do matter. And you do exist, you just can't see it."

"What do you mean?"

"Let me show you something."

You grabbed Sans' open hand. It was so cold to the touch you almost shivered. His hand felt rough and smooth at the same time. You also noticed how well yours fit into his, making you blush. You were about to excuse yourself of this silly deed, after all he was your boyfriend; however you never got the chance because you were suddenly in a humid setting.

Looking around you noticed you weren't home in your bed. Rather you were in a dark room. Where you couldn't see anything.

"Ugh sorry, it's been a while since I've been here. Let me get some light", Sans whispered apologetically. You assume he ment a light switch but what you found when the room illuminated with a blue glow was Sans, touching a mushroom?
