[Jin's POV]
"Jin Park, meet Stevie Weber. Your new coworker and stylist."
I hardly expected it to be Stevie Weber. He always seemed confident, yeah, but I was always told he's uptight and thinks he's better than everyone. A challenge I can accept.
I smile, trying to erase all previous knowledge and judgements I had before and I extend my hand out to him.
His face is awe struck, but not in a good way. He hesitantly shakes my hand and retracts it just as hesitantly. He pulls the woman closer to him and whispers.
"Are you freaking kidding me?! No, I can't do this job, Abigail," he whispers. Well I guess he's already made a good impression with his whole, "holy shit" reaction.
"You see his smug face, Abby, I can not work with him," he argues on before his boss finally calms him down and he slumps into the chair next to me. I take a seat, sliding my fingers back through my hair.
I lick my lips and look up at the woman attentively. In all honesty, I didn't know his boss was this woman. She seemed casually official, but Stevie seemed above her still. I guess I was wrong about that.
I hardly noticed the guy standing outside the doorway, which is hard to believe since he is a rather tall and heavy set guy, until he whispered, "okay kids, you get along now."
I turned to look at him as he shuffled back down the hall, disappearing around the corner. I turned back to the woman and noticed her name plate read "Abigail Ross Executive Stylist Manager". It's a bit embarrassing that I had already forgotten her name from when she introduced herself. I clear my throat, and focus on Ms. Ross' face.
It was slim and she had a stern expression as she shuffled papers around on her desk.
"I'm sure you two know of each other, both of you hold a high status in the modeling and stylist departments of SMSC. For you, Mr. Park, the company has given me the task of assigning a well suited and compliant hardworking personal stylist to help you prepare and better yourself for photo shoots and in some opportunities, interviews or anything that may come up. In case you two are oblivious to the current situation, Mr. Park, this is Stevie Webers, your new personal stylist. Mr. Webers is a very sophisticated and dedicated stylist, I assure you. He's possibly one of the best I've had the pleasure of working with."
Ms. Ross clears her throat as she hands both of us a piece of paper and a pen each.
"As for you, Mr. Webers. This is Jin Park, a well appreciated and nearly top model of this company, mainly centered in the fashion modeling for our unisex section. I expect nothing but your best work while working alongside Mr. Park. I will of course be requiring a monthly report of the current unisex fashion trends and brands, that also goes for makeup brands and products as well."
We both sign the papers simultaneously, just the standard contract that we will be working together for 3 years or until my contract with SMSC is terminated or handed over to another modeling agency.
We hand the papers back to Ms. Ross. Her stern face melts into a bubbly smile and she giggles.
"Just between me and you guys, I'm very excited for you two to be working together. I'll probably be checking up on you two every once in a while. Now!"
She stands and both Stevie and I stand as well. She shakes our hands and sighs.
"You two play nicely."
Ms. Ross pushes us out of her office as quickly as she could, and we are left alone in the hallway.
"Um-"
