Trust Issues

My poor broken soul
Can anyone hear it
It cries and it weeps
Looking for someone to save it

Can you heal my broken soul
Can I trust you
Can you fix it
Can you make it as though those things
They never happened

No don't do that
That's what the last one did
And what the last one said
Those were their actions before they hurt me

Please don't be like them
I want to trust
And I want to give
I want to love
And have happiness that never ends

But once again
I am betrayed
The same old things
But in different ways

And people wonder I don't why trust them
I got trust issues
Really?
People are untrustworthy
And that's why I stop believing
