Chapter 25- a romance

Jesse POV

"Where the hell did she just drive off to" I was yelling at the gang, they all had blank expressions.

"Boss, I think I got her" I walked over to the computer where kayden sat, "black lotus with pink interior"

"Yep that's here how did you find her" I don't question kayden stability I just wanted to know.

"Maddie was out shopping and saw the car she sent me a photo saying she wanted one I though I would just ask since you were telling me Adeline has good car taste" kayden sent me the picture Maddie sent him. Maddie is kaydens girlfriend of six years, yep I'm surprised they aren't married!

"That would be her, shopping" I grabbed my keys and started too walk to the door.

"Where are you going" Asher called out follow behind me.

"Too go get Addie" I said in a duh tone.

"She isn't going to do well with that, do something to make her special because it will make her slightly guilt" ash was right.

"Do you have any ideas lover boy"'I poked Asher's chest.

"I do" we walked out of the room and discussed the plan.

Addie's POV

I decided to go shopping it always calmed my nerves. I parked my car then walked through the huge doors of the shopping centre, the first store I stopped at was a coffee shop, dont judge me I haven't had caffeine yet, I took my coffee and started to walk around the shops.

I walked into forever 21 and spotted a beautiful girl with long blonde hair and blue eyes, my curiosity kicked in. I walked over to the girl.

"Sorry but you seem awfully familiar, I'm Adeline" I stuck out my hand which she took.

"Oh your the famous Adeline I thought I recognised you, you're Jesse fiancé right?" It was Maddie.

"Yeah and your Maddie, kaydens girlfeiend?"

"I am. Are you here with anyone,like do you wanna shop together and we can talk" Maddie suggested.

"Why not" so Maddie and I walked around to do some shopping.

We were into our ninth store now

"So, how are you coping knowing your getting married" Maddie asked

"It's not a bother too me, Jesse proposed the other night" I was about to continue when Maddie interrupted.

"WAIT HE DID WHAT!?" Maddie was whisper shouting, "he wasn't meant to propose because then it would be a heart break." I gave her a questioning look.

"Your mum told Jesse to never propose unless he loved you" I felt a giant blush run to my cheeks.

We talked the for the next hour about me and Jesse.

"Anyway enough of me, what about you and kayden hey" I nudged her side with me elbow.

"What is there too say" she seems upset, "I really want to get married but he isn't getting the hint so after I came to visit you I got angry and decided to come shopping"

"You and me both" she looked at me confused, "I kept something from Jesse and I freaked out when he started yelling at me so I came here." I took a long deep breathe, "it's not that I want to keep secrets from him it's just that I'm not allowed to tell him"

"Wanna get a coffee and talk about it?" Maddie asked.

"Actually I think I'm gonna go, I should probably talk to him, I'll give kayden some hints" we stopped.

"Well here I will give you my number and address, and if it goes wrong come over. Anytime" Maddie typed it into my phone.

I gave a quick hug and thanked her.

I grabbed the many,many bags and walked out into the parking lot. I walk over to Letty, I placed all the bags in the trunk and was about to open the driver door and I noticed something.

I picked up the white rose, it had a note attached to it. I knew it had to be from Jesse, I told him recently that my favourite flowers were white roses. Some people say white roses represent death the way I see it is why not welcome death, especially with this whole mafia business. I unfolded the white piece of paper attached.

'Addie I'm so sorry, please don't feel like you have to hide stuff from me

Jesse'

It made tears well up in my eyes making all my make up run, yeah yeah I don't wear water prof mascara.

I pulled down the mirror to have another white rose with a note fall onto my lap, I opened the note.

'Don't cry,your too beautiful.

Ps- open the glove box

I did as the note instructed me and I opened the glove box to find a white rose with a note and water proof mascara.

'I love you Addie don't forget that, please come home

I applied the mascara and tidied myself up before driving home.

I drove for awhile before coming to the large gates of my home. I pulled up and typed in the access code '1330' and continued down the drive way I didn't park my car in the drive way I was too excited to see Jesse. I hopped out with my shopping bags in hand, I walked to the front door too see white rose petals all over the ground at the front door. I open the door and dropped my bags.

There on the ground made out of white rose petals was a giant arrow with a rose and a note in the middle. I picked up the note...

'Follow the rose petals, love you

Jesse'

I did as the note said and followed them they lead me past the kitchen, past the lounge, room up the stairs and around the hallways. They leaded to Jesse and I's bedroom and I opened the door and walked in.

"WOW" I said out loud as I looked at around the room. It was painted a whine red with black and gold accents, it was soooo romantic. I walked over to the bed and sat down.... WATER BED! Oh this was amazing I looked at the bed again to notice another white rose with a note.

'Go in the bathroom

Again I followed the note to the bathroom and when I opened the French doors I gasped. There were red and white rose petals all over the floor and there was a hot bath with red rose petals floating. Right next to the bath was a white rose and another note...

'Enjoy it you deserve it

I stripped off and jumped in it was so relaxing.

About half an hour later I decided I was done looking like a prawn so I jumped out. I put on a pair of grey sweats, white loose tank top and I left my hair down.

I heard banging around in the kitchen so I decided to run down, I saw Jesse with grey sweats on and a white tank top, MATCHING! I took another step forward so I was against the counter Jesse must have heard me come into the kitchen. He turned around and started walking towards me.

"Addie I am so sorry I don't mean to scare you" he came close, "I'm really sorry, I don't know what got into me--" he would have gone on forever if I don't cut him off.

I wrapped my hands around his neck and kissed him he instantly responded.

"Does that mean I'm forgiven?" He looked nervous.

"Definitely after all the roses" my cheeks blushed red as I remembered the last hour of events.
