Chapter 32- relieved

Addie's POV

Jesse started to walk closer, and Adrian turned around to walk off.

"Adrian stay" I pleaded, he stopped and stood next to me.

"Who is Sam!" Jesse shouted, making me flinch.

"Chill" Adrian out a hand of Jesse shoulder. Jesse just shrugged it off.

"I'm sorry Jesse" I spat out I had light tears streaming down my face.

"I'm not asking again who is Sam!" Jesse hissed through his teeth.

"Sam was my boyfriend" I said making my tears come out stronger. Jesse grabbed my wrist and pulled me into one of the rooms Adrian shortly behind, in the room was two couches, a desk and a pod chair that hung from the roof. Adrian ran over and sat in the chair playing on his phone. Jesse sat me down on the couch and he sat on the coffee table in front of me.

"Explain" he managed to push out.

Here goes nothing

"Sam was my boyfriend, we started 'dating' when I was 12. It was one of those things like you had to have a boyfriend and this was before I had violet and no one talked to me. Sam was the head of the basketball team so when he asked me out I excepted, it earns me friends, popularity and a boyfriend"

I looked Up at him to see him staring at me.

"We went on our first date to the bowling alley and I liked him and he liked me (well I thought), I knew it was only going to be a one night date just so he could tell all the other 12 year old boys that he had dated me, because at that time I never talked to boys and Marco and Adrian were always so protective of me. Anyway he asked me out a second time and then a third and so on, until a year later he asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes."

Adrian had long tuned out of our conversation but Jesse still held his position.

"After a year of 'dating Sam said he wanted 'IT' but I told him I didn't want to, so he punched me, at first I was so angry but then i thought it was just another one of his temper tantrums, I knew he would change. It was only that, that night I was going to Adrian's house for a swim and Adrian saw the bruise on my stomach and I told him what happened. The next day I went to school Sam had a huge black eye and a busted lip only because Adrian beat him up"

"Hell yea I did, that fucker couldn't see for days" Adrian yelled from his game.

"LANGUAGE" I shouted at him. He mumbled a sorry then kept playing.

"Anyway every time I saw Sam he would punch me and I would let him do it because I believed I could change him, the next morning Adrian would have already beaten him up. It was only this one time he must have been really angry and he pushed me" I let the tears stream freely down my face, "he pushed and I fell. We were at school and he pushed me through the window of the second story,I landed and I was okay but I had glass shattered in my skin" Jesse got up and came closer to me he lifted up my t-shirt a bit to reveal my scar.

"You said you fell doing this" Jesse said.

"I did, I fell" it was a scar that went from my kidneys to around near my belly button.

"So after all this I finally knew that this wasn't healthy and I decided to dump him, he went to jail and he swore he would eventually come after me. Everyday after school I would go around to Adrian's house and just cry, then I would have to go home and tell my mum and dad that I was fine and school was great. During that time though I become closer to my family I started to hang out with my cousins more often and it was great, and as much as it pains me to say it,It was worth the pain, it was worth being tortured and beaten because it brought me closer to the people I love. That's why I get angry and upset so easily because I never wanted the hurt again,that's why I snap at you, that's why I question everything, that's why I leave." I sighed, I sobbed out loud and stood up to leave.

Jesse grabbed my head between his hands and planted his lips on mine so they were moving in a perfect musical note, the kiss was beautiful and gentle we broke apart and he placed his hands on my hips.

"What was that for" I asked looking up into his eyes.

"For being put through all that shit but still being the most beautiful girl ever, inside and out" as that he lowered his head down and placed another kiss on my lips it was full of love and emotion. I loved the fact that even though I kept dark secrets from him he still excepted me.

We broke apart and I rested my forehead against his.

"I love you Addie"

"I love you too"

"I love you too Jesse" I had completely forgotten about Adrian in the chair, he came over and hugged the both of us. Adrian pushed me out of the way so I fell on the couch. He jumped up into Jesse arms bridal style.

"He's ma boo" Adrian said waving a finger, Jesse looked like he was struggling to hold Adrian, ads wasn't fat he was pure muscle it's like he didn't even have bones. As that the boys came tumbling down on the ground.

"Let's go" jesse said laughing and we walked into the corridor.

Jesse was walking in my left and Adrian on my right, it then when it clicked into my head.

"Wait stop." I put my arms out so the guys couldn't pass, the looked at me, "this feels like a Hollywood movie, let's do this thing"

So we walked in slow motion me slightly ahead of the boys, I did my model walk and flicked my hair over my shoulder.

As that Johnny and Marco walked out a realised what we were doing and joined in at the end of the hallway stood my pappous.

(What do I do with you lot!) we all laughed at his comment for hours then decided to leave.
