Chapter 2

Meanwhile same day in New York City:

Logan sits at his desk going over paperwork for another paper his father is looking to acquire out in California. After the whole fiasco with Rory catching him cheating then Stephanie doing the same to him Logan had decided to swear off relationships for good. He still to this day can not pinpoint what had possessed  him to cheat. But, he did and in the process he lost the one girl he had ever really loved. He will never forget when Finn had showed up to his apartment to collect her belongings. What he didn't expect however was Colin to be with him and knew all about what had happened.

Flashback

Logan was sitting on his bed with his head in his hands after Stephanie left trying to figure out what had taken place not even two hours earlier.He kept replaying it in his head and the heartbroken look on Rory’s face as she walked in the room. He saw the tears in her eyes as she screamed and quickly left the apartment. Suddenly a knock came at the door and Logan opened it to find Finn standing there. What he didn't expect was to find Colin move from where he was standing out of sight and shove him backwards before he punched him right in the face.

“What the hell was that for?” Logan asked as he looked at his longtime best friend. “Surely there was no way he had found out right?” Logan thought to himself

“Like you don't know.” Colin huffed. “ Finn seemed to have received  call from a certain reporter girl and she was crying. She asked to speak to us privately and what do you know she tells me she walked into her apartment to find her boyfriend fucking my girlfriend .” he continued as he stared at his former best friend.

“Man I am sorry…. I don't know how it happened.” he lied with ease as he tried to defuse the situation.

“Like hell mate! You have always known when your screwing someone. Don't even try to bullshit us…. We just came to get Love’s belongings packed up and moved.” Finn spat angrily. Finn knew Damn well he had knew what he had done and they were not going to listen to his excuses.

“You talked to Ace? Please…. tell me where she is I need to talk to her.” Logan began to ramble as he looked at the two guys that stood in front of him.

Colin huffed then said… “ We don't know where she is just that she is safe. Like, I would tell you anyways.” he glared at Logan as he spoke.

Guys, I screwed up I am sorry. I had planned to propose after Rory’s graduation.” Logan said as he tried a different approach.

“Well I doubt that will be happening now! Finn said. “Now I need to get Rory’s things so I can leave I can't stand to look at you right now.” he continued as he moved and started to pack up Rory’s things.Colin made his way over and began to help. It didn't take long before they had everything in boxes ready to go. Logan just stood by as he watched helplessly as his world crashed down before his eyes. When they had finished they picked up the boxes and moved to the door and opened it but before they out Colin turned around and gave Logan a death glare.

“I hope you're happy now! You have officially destroyed the best thing that ever happened to you and also a lifelong friendship.” he said before he slammed the door behind him.

Logan didn't take long before he decided he needed to find her. The one place she always ran to was her mom's in Stars Hollow. He quickly grabbed his keys and made his way out of the building. He jumped into his car making the 30 minute drive to the Gilmore house. Once he arrived the first thing he noticed was Rory’s car was not in the drive.Slowly Logan got out of his car and made his way to the front door promptly he knocked three times before the door swung open.
