Chapter 6

Logan POV

It wasn't suppose to be like this. So many days I have thought about how we would meet up and how we would find each other. I never thought that she would forgive me or even forget what I did, but I never thought that she would have so much fire in her eyes. What the hell has she done to herself? Where the hell did she come up with that name? She definitely isn't the same Gilmore she used to be, but she will always be my Ace. Damn she is hot.. ok..  I need answers so the first thing I am going to have to do is get some information on the guy hanging all over her. Why the hell is she in that kind of place. Yes we go there to blow off some steam, but Ace is so much better than that. Her family certainly can't know what she is doing out here. Maybe I can get her to come back with me. Maybe if I show up tonight and do as she suggests then she will spend some time and talk to me. Maybe if I beg and plead she will see the light and get on that plane back to Hartford. Maybe I can recruit her mom. It worked in the past. I know I am the last person she wants to talk to but if I tell her what her baby girl is doing in Cali-forn-I-a- then maybe she will take my side. “Baby Girl” who the hell does that guy think he is hanging all over my girl!!! And what the hell does he mean “keep my girls in line?” What did she get herself into? Is she able to leave on her own free will? Maybe I can swoop in and save her. My Ace would never dance like that, much less in front of strangers and every horny man in sight.

By this time Logan has finished the bottle and is looking for another. Finn has been quiet, thinking about how he lost contact with her about three years ago and it wasn't anything to do with the fact that Colin and him had become friends with Logan again, it's just that time had passed and before they knew it years had passed. Looking at his phone Finn realizes he has had her number the whole time. So many times tonight he has thought of dialing the number but he can't bring himself to do it. He always thought she would either become a writer or come back home once everything died down. Never on a million years would he have believed that she would become an exotic entertainer and grow some balls. To be honest with himself, Finn was in awe of her. He was proud of the strong woman she has become and if he had the chance he wouldn't say no to a night on the town with her, damn can she move her body. Looking over he sees his mate is completely out of it. He tries to understand how Logan would be feeling right now but honestly it just makes him sick with himself. Sick with Logan all over again. If the idiot would have only stayed faithful then Rory would have never left them and would have done the great things she was destined to do. Instead she was a sex goddess that Finn wouldn't mind being punished by. Shaking his head he realizes he has to stop thinking like that. Note to self… Never let Logan know that he left to relieve himself in the bathrooms when he found out who the mysterious inked mistress was. Is it worse that he was more turned on after finding out it was her than before when he was just enjoying the view of a random stranger? Never again will he think she was tame or innocent. Never again would he think that she couldn't handle her own. Is it sad that he was giddy that she tore his friend a new one instead of hiding in her shell? Damn that girl starts fires wherever she goes and Finn knew that he never wanted to be on the receiving end of her wrath. This woman knew how she affected men and she knew how to use it to her advantage. He goes to bed but all he can do is picture earlier that night when Rory was with that girl and they were all over each other. A pillow comes out of nowhere and as he is waking up, he sees Logan is giving Him the death glare from across the room. Oops…. Finn realizes, he must have talked in his sleep.

Meanwhile the next morning on the other side of town...

The next morning Rory sits in her living room thinking about what she should do with the situation at hand. She knows she is going to need all the help she can get because Logan will not give up easily.  If there is anything she remembers it's his persistence when he wants something and she is determined to make it hard on him. She thinks of the person perfect to help her. She grabs her phone and dials the number.
