The Beginning

A/N: The picture up there is how they look. Eren without her wings, horns, tail, etc.

Also, AOT/SNK doesn't belong to me. Everything goes to the respective creators. The storyline is mine though.

In a time and place where the existence of magic was at its peak, mythical creatures roamed.

Creatures like fairies and elves, wizards and magicians lived in the land of Eldia.

Seeing as there were beings with more physical and magical abilities, it gave the humans a high chance of extinction.

Luckily the humans and creatures were able to live in peace with one another, until one day a clan of ravenous dragons attacked.

They were called the Titans.

Vicious dragons with a taste for blood that ran as far as the sea itself.

They were different from other dragons with a light pale skin tone and big wide eyes. Their claws looked more like hands, with skin like scales.

An advantage for the other creatures is that when they were threatened, titans turned into a human form, much weaker than their dragon form.

Most human forms towered over a regular human, still with inhuman-like looks and abilities.

Some were quicker or stronger, but usually they didn't retain any intelligence. Only programmed with the need for food.

When they first attacked, everyone believed it was only because they needed other species' for survival.

Until the protectors saw some titans eat their own, then they knew they ate others if not for malice, then for sheer fun.

Not only did they eat other dragons, they ate any mythical creature or human they could get their hands on.

Because of this, for decades the beings of Eldia lived in fear of the Titans.

That was until the creatures of Eldia decided to join forces with the humans to stop their reign of terror.

The Military existed, but with beings such as the fairies, equipment was given to destroy and kill the Titans.

Another thing that was learned was that for some reason, magic was ineffective and couldn't pierce their dragon skin.

That's why they were given special equipment. They called this 3D MG.

Do to this, three main branches were made.

First there was what everyone called the Garrison. They keep on patrol and maintain the magic barriers that protect the civilians from the Titans. If some titans are spotted then they engage them first.

Then you had the Military Police. Being made of the top-ranking soldiers they acted as personal guards who watched over the upper class and the royal family to make sure they were unharmed and order remained in the last barrier.

Finally, you had the Survey Corps. This branch explored titan roamed areas for expansion. But probably the most troublesome and close to expulsion out of every branch.

And finally the most important thing that's vital for humanity's existence.

The wall barriers. Magical barrier-like walls set up with magic and construction nearly a century ago to protect humanity.
